We first met when we sat next to each other in Algebra 2 class at Shawnee Mission East High School. Brooke would strategically plan to bring up a conversation a few minutes before the bell rang so that Charley would have to walk with her down the hall to the next class.

Charley asked Brooke to the high school homecoming dance the following fall - the start to every high school relationship! We started dating a few months later on November 16, 2013.

Charley heads to college and the many years of long distance begins.

After 5 years of long distance between Duke and the University of Denver, Brooke finally graduates from college and heads to Denver. We finally live in the same city!!

Just 2 days after Brooke moved back to Denver and we moved in together, Charley planned a family BBQ up in Evergreen, CO. It was all a guise so that he could get down on one knee in the mountains. The rest of the our lives together begins!
