Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta
Our wedding is a week before the International Balloon Fiesta! This is our favorite time of the year! If you are planning to make a trip out of our wedding, we highly recommend attending this event. Whether you are adventurous and want to go up in a balloon or love to take pictures, this event is one of a kind and really makes Albuquerque unique! This picture is of us from the past Balloon Fiesta in 2024!
Sandia Peak Tramway
The tram will take you to the top of the Sandia mountains. There you will be able to see Albuquerque from another point of view. There is a restaurant at the top or you can bring your own to picnic. There are many places to hike to see many stunning New Mexico views.
Sawmill Market
A great place to grab food, drinks, and desserts with a large or small group of people. Sawmill has a variety of options from waffles to pho to New Mexican food. Bonus tip: the green chile chicken pasta at Tulipani is our favorite!
Old Town
Old town has many fun local shops and restaurants. If you do not want to make the trip to Santa Fe, Old Town is a fun alternative!
