She’s my favorite sister, my foodie partner-in-crime, my built-in frenemy, and the official content creator of the group—if it’s not filmed or posted, did it even happen? She’s the one you call when you need encouragement, the hype woman who reminds you who you are, the voice of reason when things start getting questionable (sometimes), and the one who always knows how to make everything feel okay again. She is both sensitive and strong at heart. Emotional, but fiercely protective. She’s always down for a good time—no questions asked, just ready to go wherever the moment takes us. I’m so grateful to have my built-in best friend by my side, and even though life may give us different last names, in my heart we will always share the name Melchor—a bond that nothing could ever change.

She’s one of the kindest, most caring people I know… and yes, she’s my Filipino bestie, with the most iconic energy. Together we make the most hilariously random “podcasts,” talking about absolutely anything and everything that comes to mind like we’re hosts of our own chaotic show. She used to be our unit secretary, keeping everything (and everyone) together, and now we stand side by side as nurse colleagues—which makes our journey even more special. Watching her grow and step into her role has been such a full-circle moment. Life is just more enjoyable, louder, and a little more unhinged (in the best way) with her around.
