What time do I need to be inside the chapel before the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin on time. All guests must be seated inside the main sanctuary no later than 45 minutes before the scheduled start. That entails guests arriving by 0815am. Late arrivals will be asked to wait outside until after the bride has walked down the aisle.

In the chapel, will there be assigned seating or open seating?

Answer

To help keep things organized during the ceremony, we ask that males sit on the left side and females sit on the right side of the main sanctuary when entering. This is just a traditional seating arrangement to keep the flow smooth and the ceremony running beautifully.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be a black-tie daytime event, and we kindly ask guests to keep the attire elegant and sophisticated. Gentlemen should wear a tuxedo or dark suit with a tie or bow tie, and ladies are invited to wear floor-length gowns—nothing revealing, keeping the look timeless and refined. Please refrain from wearing white; this is reserved for the bride. We can’t wait to see everyone looking graceful and celebrating in style!

We love your little ones, but to help keep our wedding day intimate, we’re keeping the celebration adults-only, with the exception of children in our wedding party.

To help us plan for the day, we kindly ask that only the guests named on the invitation attend. We can’t wait to celebrate with each of you!

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Our wedding will be a non-alcoholic celebration, and we ask all guests to honor this choice by refraining from bringing or consuming alcohol during the event. To keep the celebration just as festive, various non-alcoholic beverages will be served at the reception, including specialty mocktails, sparkling drinks, and other refreshing options—so everyone can toast, sip, and enjoy the day together.

Parking Near Fogo de Chão at The Wharf, DC 🚗 Wharf Parking Garage 1–7th Street Circle Entrance—just steps from the restaurant. Wharf Parking Garage 1 – Blair Alley Entrance —another quick access point. Wharf Parking Garage 1–Sutton Square SW Entrance—easy entry if coming from the north side. Wharf Parking Garages 2 & 3 – Additional on-site underground parking. Nearby Alternatives (if Wharf garages are full): L’Enfant East Parking Garage—About a 10–12-minute walk. 1100 4th St SW Garage—A walkable option slightly further north.
