Solarpunk, or a hopeful union of nature and technology. Dressing up is definitely optional, but the decor and food will reflect it. There's plenty going wrong in the world, lets build toward some solutions

Why are you getting married at a campground?

Answer

Because we both love nature and want an easygoing wedding

What will the dress code be?

Answer

Both reception and ceremony will be outside, so we recommend against traditional wedding attire. Dress for the weather. Think casual outdoor clothes in earth tones If you want to dress up for the solarpunk theme, go for it :) We're excited to see what you create

What should I know about Spruces?

Answer

- Celebrations will be at group campsites. All are ADA compliant - Bathrooms are available on site - Free parking spots at our venue are limited. Please bring some cash in your car in case you need to pay for parking - There is no electricity at this site, please make sure your devices are charged beforehand - Most cell companies provide signal in this area - We will be in bear country, which means we need to be careful about leaving food unattended. Please follow instructions to make sure everyone stays safe

Can I bring my pet?

Answer

No. Spruce Campground prohibits all pets, and for good reason. Not having pets there helps keep the protected watershed we are visiting clean and keeps you pets safe from predators. If you show up with a pet you will be asked to leave Trained service animals are an exception.

Where are we getting married?

Answer

We'll be at Spruces Campsite near Brighton, UT. Driving up the canyon: It is 9.7 miles up UT-190 on the right hand side. If you drive into Spruces Campground S Big Cottonwood Canyon Rd Brighton, UT As you can see Spruces Campground doesn't have an exact address. We recommend searching for it by name in your navigation app of choice. Make sure you are driving in BIG COTTONWOOD canyon to get there. There are 3 different canyons with cottonwood in the name.
