How did you know we were dreaming of those crystal champagne flutes?! They’re by far the most beautiful glasses in our home and we’ve never felt fancier. You’ll have to come over soon so we can toast to you! So excited to see you in June.

Charis & Micah

Fall 2017- Micah and Charis met (they honestly can't remember exactly when) through mutual friends at the Wheaton College Swing Club

Fall 2018- Micah and Charis join the leadership team for the Swing Club and Micah starts attending Charis's home church, Church of the Resurrection. They spent many long evenings creating decorations for dances and talking theology.

Winter/Spring 2018: Charis realizes Micah is forming a crush on her and promptly friend-zones him, but they continue to be close friends. Micah attends Charis's 21st birthday celebration and family Easter dinner. 

October of 2020-  Charis comes to her senses, asks Micah to coffee, and tells him something like, "Hey! if you'd be up for dating I'd be interested, but if you're not interested anymore forget I said anything. If you want to think about and get back to me that's totally ok."

12 hours later Micah asks Charis out on a date, and 13 months later they are engaged All Saints Day, November 1st, 2021!
