House Plant Drop off

Your houseplant is invited to our ceremony! We'd like to decorate the aisle with house plants from friends and family because we want the wedding to feel full of life and community. If your houseplant accepts the invitation, please drop them off at Church of the Resurrection between 10AM and 1 PM on May 5th (that's when we will be setting up the sanctuary). Please pick them back up and take them home either after the ceremony or after the reception on the 7th. We will write down your contact info for the plant when you drop them off just in case they get left behind. Please put your plant in a brown or terracotta cover pot for continuity if at all possible! We're so excited to celebrate with you!

Reception Cookie Drop Off

In the true spirit of the, "community event" aesthetic, we are looking for volunteer cookie bakers to supply the desert portion of the reception! If you are willing and able to make or buy around two dozen cookies, please bring them with you to the ceremony and drop them off in the Rez Cafe area adjacent to the narthex. Wedding Ceremony

Garden Attire: Wear sundresses, floral prints, ties/bowties, or suits in lighter hues. Think Easter Tide!
Liturgy, celebration, and live music. There will be a mask required section provided for any that desire it. Elsewhere will be mask optional. We can't wait to host you in our church home!
Reception Dinner

Join us for dinner, celebration, and swing dancing. The food will be from Naf Naf, one of Micah and Charis' mediterranean favorites! It is vegan/vegetarian friendly and gluten and dairy free. Please let us know below if you are vegan/vegetarian so we can provide more falafel and salad for you! We can't wait to celebrate with you!
