Train
Regional Train - Southern NSW Line (Central to Canberra) (Fastest 1hr 30mins) Take a Canberra-bound train from Sydney's Central Station and get off at Bowral Station. Inbound Train No. (to Canberra): 631, 633*, 635 Outbound Train No. (to Sydney's Central Station): 632, 634, 636 *We recommend taking inbound Train No. 633, departing Sydney Central Station around noon time on 13 Feb, 2025, so you can get to Bowral before 2:00pm **Note: Train seats can be booked from 7 days in advance, so be sure to secure yours early.
Hotel
This hotel will be the designated pick-up point for our international guests. If you're not planning to drive to Bowral, we recommend booking your stay here - it’s just a 4-minute walk from Bowral Station and will also serve as the shuttle pick-up point to the wedding reception. Not the best in town, yet it will be the most convenient if you're carrying luggage and toddler(s). **Reservation for Feb 2026 opens in Aug 2025.
Shuttle

A shuttle bus will be available for overseas guests travelling to and from the Bendooley Estate. Pick-up and drop-off will be available in front of The Imperial Hotel & Motel. Depart from The Imperial Hotel & Motel: 3:30pm Depart from Bendooley Estate: 10:30pm Please be ready a few minutes before departure to help keep everything on schedule. Late comers will not be catered.
Train
2 trains will be involved: Intercity Trains - T8 Line (Macarthur via Airport) AND SHL Line (Southern Highlands) (2hr 15mins slowest) If you are unable to book the Direct Regional Train or would like to arrive at a later time, please take the following: Inbound (to Bowral): Step 1: Take T8 Line (Macarthur via Airport) - Get on at any City Train Stations or at International Airport Step 2: Get off at Campbelltown Station, Platform 3 Step 3: Get on Southern Highlands Line (SHL Line), Platform 4 (Has toilets onboard) Step 4: Get off at Bowral Station Outbound (to Sydney): Reverse the above. **Note: This means of transport requires a Visa or MastercCard or an Opal Card (Sydney's version of Octopus/Sica/SimpleGo/T-money/myki). We highly recommend you take the Direct Regional Train (see above Direct Regional Train Section) if you’re travelling from overseas.
Rental Car
If you’re up for a drive, we recommend renting a car through Budget Car Rental. They offer reasonable rates and have multiple pick-up and drop-off locations across Sydney.
Hotel
This hotel is located in the heart of Bowral, just an 8-minute walk from Bowral Station. If you're not driving, it is another convenient option - and while it’s just a 10-minute walk away from the shuttle pick-up point, it’s still a great base for exploring the Bowral if you're keen.

If you're planning to drive and have the flexibility to explore the town, we recommend booking your accommodation through Airbnb. Many local properties have a Bridgerton-like charm - blending classic elegance with modern, cozy touches that make for your stay a memorable one.

Note that Uber is not available in the area. If you require a taxi or limousine service, we highly recommend booking in advance with the sole local provider - Southern Highlands Taxis.
