The wedding will be hosted at Bendooley Estate in Bowral - a charming town nestled in the Southern Highlands, outside of Sydney. The venue is a 10-minute drive from Bowral Station. Charlotte and Andrew fell in love with Bowral on their first visit, and can’t wait to share it with you.
Book Barn is where the wedding is going to be. Don't make your way to The Stables even though it is also a very stunning venue.
Semi-formal. Tuxedos and evening dresses are welcome, so are suits with a tie and cocktail dresses. Absolutely no T-shirts / tanks / denims, please.
Don’t worry about bringing a gift - your presence is all we ask for! But if you would like to contribute to our Home Renovation project, a wishing well will be available at the reception.

We highly recommend taking the Direct Regional train - Southern Highlands Line (Central to Canberra) from the Central Station in Sydney to get to Bowral. For international guests, a shuttle service will be available from a designated pick-up point in Bowral to the Estate. Check out the "Travels & Accommodations" section for more details. If you're from Sydney or interstates, please carpool with the people you know!
No, Uber isn’t available at Bowral, it is considered a regional area outside of metropolitan New South Wales. If you require taxi service, be sure to book ahead with the region’s sole provider. For details, please check out the "Travels & Accommodations" section.
Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport (SYD) is your best bet for getting to the wedding. It’s the closest major international airport and offers easy connections to Bowral via train or car. Check out the "Travels & Accommodations" section for more details.
As of May 2019, New South Wales enforces immediate license suspension, on-the-spot fines and potential imprisonment for drink driving offences - even for a first offense with a BAC under 0.05 (roughly one standard drink per hour, each person varies). These penalties also apply to international licence holders. If you're drinking on the night, please arrange alternative transportation or allocate a designated driver from your crew. Safety first - for you and other road users on the road.
Expect a party without 成長片段, this will be an intimate celebration of love, with speeches from the bridal party. Butttt… the dance floor? That’s where things will heat up with a DJ!
When Charlotte was choosing a wedding date, she noticed that Valentine's Day in 2026 fell on a Saturday and was considered an auspicious day on the Chinese calendar- a perfect match. However, Saturdays turn out to come with a hefty price tag for the venue. She turned back to the Chinese calendar, only to find that the rest of February was ruled out due to the Lunar New Year, with no other "lucky" days in sight. Considering traditions, costs, availability of her international friends, and discussion with Andrew, she settled on 13 Feb 2026 - only to be told by Andrew that it's considered unlucky in Western culture after they paid the deposit for the venue. It's all on Andrew.
