Take it on back to Turner Elementary where we first met in fifth grade! Throughout our youth we became best friends and even “dated” in middle school. Though we both graduated high school and had separate paths we took. 8 years ago, Colin’s mother, Tami met up with Chantel for some coffee and to catch up. Little did Chantel know, Tami would go home and work her magic with Colin. It was Christmas Eve 2017, we met up at The French Press in Salem and caught up. We continued to meet up for coffee dates and lunch dates and began to build our relationship. January 2018, we decided to give this relationship a try. Often every Thursday evening, you’d find us down at the Ram for pint night and many games of pool. So much so the staff came back and showed us “the secret” to playing without paying! We also enjoyed traveling around Oregon and Washington to complete a McMenamins passport so we could join our friends at a tripster party. From our adventures taking the Harley out, to lake days, to Oktoberfest, to advancing in our careers, to buying a home, to buying our crazy Rottie, Akela, to traveling to different breweries and wineries and everything else in between, our love for each other grew stronger! February 2025 in Puerto Rico, Colin got down on one knee in front of his parents and brother and asked Chantel to marry him. In typical fashion, Chantel stepped back and said “Are you Serious?”. And as lots would say “About Dang Time”!
