Six city blocks of Tampa's favorite shops & restaurants in the heart of historic Hyde Park. Cute area to walk around (8 minute Uber from Le Meridien). Highly recommend grabbing some tacos and a spicy margarita at Bar Taco.

Bern's Steak House
If you love steak and wine, this is the place for you. Bern's has one of the largest wine collections in the world with over half a million bottles. Make sure you stay for the dessert room after dinner! Requires advance reservations.
Oxford Exchange
Yes, this is our wedding venue. But by day it is a restaurant, coffee shop, book store, Warby Parker outpost, and now has a champagne bar! They also have a great shop with curated home items.
Tampa Riverwalk
Outdoor park with 10+bars and restaurants overlooking the water. Plenty of outdoor lawn games and general merriment to be had (open container laws do not apply).
Ulele
Rustic-chic site for native Floridian fare, with barbacoa grilling & house-brewed beers. A favorite of Mr. and Mrs. Chang.
Cigar City Brewing
A local Tampa brew pub that makes award-winning beer that is widely distributed. We visited over Thanksgiving break and took the brewery tour and highly recommend it!
Sparkman Wharf
Modern waterfront area featuring hip restaurants & shops, a beer garden & street-food stands (in converted shipping containers).
Clearwater Beach
Clearwater Beach has been named No. 1 in the United States by TripAdvisor’s annual top 25 beach ranking for the third time in four years. While it may be a little cold for swimming, it should be the perfect temperature for a stroll, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops along the water. We recommend renting a car if you want to visit the beach.
Tarpon Springs
Tarpon Springs is a Greek village that contains the highest concentration of Greek Americans in the US. Naturally, we always go here for good Greek food (Hellas is a favorite). You can also take a boat out and watch sponge divers do their thang.
