Angelique & I met in the early morning drop-off hours at Pleasant Grove Middle School in Texarkana, TX. At the time, I always wished I could sleep in a little longer, but now I’m truly thankful for those mornings that brought me and my sisters closer to Angelique. She quickly became family to us, and from then on, we spent nearly every day together. During our senior year of high school, we had every class together except one, and we spent our summers working kids camp side by side. From our TJ Maxx runs, to you making a PowerPoint presentation convincing my dad we needed a pool, to seeing every Marvel movie in theaters together, I’m thankful for every memory we’ve made. I’m truly blessed to have such an amazing lifelong best friend standing beside me on this day.
