Our officiant is our great friend, Jacob's brother-in-law, and the incredible husband and father of the Shaw family. When Nikki first brought Alex home from college, he and Jacob bonded over building a batteau and floating it down the James River. When he isn't busy traveling to and from for work, you might find him in his garden or training for a long-distance race.

Since promising to be one another's MOH freshman year of high school, Kate has seen Megan through all of the years, miles, and memories their soul sisterhood has spanned. No one gives gifts, plans trips, or makes Megan laugh quite like the Leslie to her Ann. Kate leads a beautiful life on an island in Maine with her husband, Andy, and their dogs, Piper and Lucy.
Morgan Edwards
Best Man
Morg is basically Jacob's brother. Best friends for 20+ years, they've stayed close and kept each other in check since elementary school. Morgan is a man of many hats and talents. He's a photographer, account executive, culture critic, performative texter, and leader of The Doritos. He's also the life of the party, honest when it matters most, and probably remembers your birthday.

Jacob's big sister Nikki is the fearless wife and mama of the Shaw crew. When she isn't busy running her own household's programming, Nikki works from home as a content and communications manager. She's our go-to for resumé edits, party coordination, and life advice, not to mention our favorite person to drink wine, decipher the Enneagram, and go on beach vacations with.
Taylor Chandler

Megan's little brother Taylor is one of our closest friends and possibly the busiest human we know. Professional firefighter, third generation farmer, and all around good citizen, he travels between Henrico, Chesterfield, and King & Queen counties, spending what little free time he has enjoying his boat and touring Virignia's wineries and breweries with his girlfriend, Lizzy.
Eleanor Shaw

In true first-born fashion, Eleanor follows in her mom's footsteps as the fun-loving, hug-giving, always-helping older sister of the Shaw household. She loves gymnastics, reading books, and riding her bike (on two wheels!) around the neighborhood.
Annie Shaw

A tornado of love, Annie is the introspective and spirited second-born Shaw sister who knows how to keep her family busy. Some of her favorite things to do include snuggling, doting on her baby brother, and building things with her dad.
Arthur Shaw
Ring Bearer
Taking over Jacob's title as "Babycakes" of the family, Arthur is the littlest Shaw sibling. Adored by his sisters and the centerpiece of every Melton function, he loves milk, ceiling fans, his bouncy seat, and discovering and re-discovering his head of hair.
