As design majors at James Madison University, we met as classmates and became close friends our senior year. It's hard to pinpoint when our friendship grew into something more, but we definitely have TAD, many meals at P.C. Dukes, and a few close friends to thank! About as opposite as two people could be, we bonded over our rural upbringings, shared love for graphic design, and a mutual appreciation for late nights around a campfire. Many bowls of of pho later, we went on our first date January 6th, 2014. . Since then, we've lived in two cities, one log cabin, and a camper named Yolanda. We've worked for some wonderful companies, studied abroad, and spent countless hours commuting and traveling. We've camped and cooked, nested and hosted. We've met each other's families, introduced old friends, and made a lot of new ones! We've become chicken parents, first-time homeowners, and an Uncle and Honorary Aunt three times over. Finally, we got engaged on vacation in Maine in September of 2020, while grilling dinner and enjoying a sunset glass of wine on Bremen's Greenland Cove. . Together with our families, we invite you to join us as we exchange vows on Saturday, April 30, 2022 in the backyard of our home in Charlottesville, Virginia. While we love all of the little ones in our lives, this is an adults-only ceremony due to limited space. We look forward to celebrating with our littlest friends another time soon!
