Are kids welcome?

This will be a 18+ celebration. Please leave the kiddos at home!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. We recommend cocktail attire (for women, dressy shoes and cocktail dress or nice slacks and a blouse; for men, a button-down shirt (with or without a tie), dress pants, and a blazer or suit coat) for the welcome drinks event. We recommend formal/black tie optional attire (for women, dressy shoes and nicer mid or long length dress or nicer separates; for men, a suit and tie or tux, dress shoes) for the wedding and reception.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we will be providing roundtrip shuttles to the ceremony from The Draftsman hotel. We will be posting the schedule closer to the event. We strongly recommend using this option, as Ubers do not service Pippin Hill.

What if I want to drive to the wedding?

Answer

Driving on own to the wedding is fine. Parking spots are limited. Traffic in Charlotteville is unpredictable so please allow recommended transit time plus 15 minutes.

Is there parking for the ceremony & reception?

Answer

Yes, though we encourage you to use shuttle transportation as parking space is limited.

Can I take an Uber to the wedding?

Answer

Ubers are not reliable to or from Pippin Hill.  You should plan to take the arranged shuttle service.
