6:30 pm
Attire: This event will be more casual than the main one. We'll be inside but dress warm and however you feel comfortable. If we had to name a theme here, it would be "lumberjack business casual." This is very open to interpretation - boots and flannel (we love buffalo plaid) encouraged here. And if you want to dress fancier, we support that too!
We'll be kicking off the weekend at 6:30 but show up whenever you're able to. And the rumors are true! C-ville's local favorite, Continental Divide is catering! For those unfamiliar - get excited and "get in here!" The meal will be buffet style and include their famous blues (nachos), southwest Caesar salad and build your own tacos with vegetarian and pescatarian options. We will have lots of fun activities - games, music, karaoke, even a pinata! And Chance will be making his famous Derby Pies for dessert. There will also be s'mores for whoever is willing to brave the cold! We hope you can make it at some point for food, drinks and to kick off the festivities. The Pavilion is an easy, short walk to the lodge and the cabins. We'll be inside and there is heating.
3:45 pm
Attire: We recommend dressing sharp yet comfortable for the season. Some may say "Mountain Chic." ;) We'll leave that open to interpretation but think dark suits and ties, long dresses, metallic and warm colors, even plaids. Fancy boots highly encouraged!
The ceremony starts at 3:45 sharp, so please be at the lodge by 3:15. We will have the ceremony outside but don't worry, it won't be too long and we'll have blankets and hot beverages available to keep you warm. The reception will immediately follow inside the Lodge. If you are able to make it to the ceremony but will not be able to stay for the reception, please reach out to Meghan or Chance.
4:15 pm - 10:00 pm
The reception will start immediately following the ceremony inside the Lodge. Cocktail hour, dinner, dancing and all that Jazz....
