Maid of Honor
AJ (or Anna or Jocelyn, depending on the phase of life) is a lifelong friend of Alyssa's. They grew up around each other at their church, Antioch, but it wasn't until sophomore year of of college that they got close - literally. They shared two corners of a giant bedroom & somehow came out as besties. They also worked at Magnolia, bonding over their interesting experiences there & eventually both deciding to quit. AJ is now thriving in Dallas, living our her girl boss CEO life - ask her about it. When she's not selling high dollar training programs to companies, she's likely to have her nose in a book, switching up her hair style, listening to T-Swift, getting her nails done, or hanging out with her young adult lifegroup. AJ's hidden talent? There's lots, but one is speaking Arabic & embracing the Arab culture, which she grew up around in the Middle East. So yeah, she's kind of a global citizen, too. AJ makes everyone feel like they can just be themselves. She brings out the absolute best in Alyssa, and her joy is contagious. With faith and confidence grounded in the Lord, AJ is a redeemed woman of God, living freely & fully.
Best Man
Preston and Chance go way back—all the way to first grade in Albuquerque, NM, where their friendship was built on a shared hatred of cold recesses. Instead of braving the elements, they’d hide from the teacher in the classroom, proving that their problem-solving skills peaked at age six. It wasn’t until high school, though, that their bond became unbreakable (probably because they were finally forced to go outside). Now living in Fort Worth, Preston enjoys camping, snowboarding, and taking close-up selfies on Chance’s phone—because nothing says “lifelong friendship” like unsolicited extreme zoom-ins. He towers at 6’4” when slouching and works at a civil engineering firm. He’s currently single, but his dog, Emperor Bun, is still the real heartthrob of the household. Fun fact: Emperor Bun once ate Preston’s Bible, proving that even dogs need spiritual nourishment. Preston’s most iconic moment? Junior year of high school, when he was favored to win a district swim race… until Chance dared him to belly flop at the start. Without hesitation, he sacrificed his entire swim season for the sake of a good laugh. Now that is friendship.
Bridesmaid
Alyssa first met Sara, aka Siracha, in lifegroup in 2020, and became good friends despite hiding behind the covid masks. Seeing almost eye-to-eye, Alyssa was glad to have a fellow tall friend. They bonded over Rosa's, Jesus, & their iconic Hawaiian shirts that occasionally make appearances at camps. Sara is a woman of many loves: she's often found working on a puzzle, collects LEGO cars like a pro, is a dedicated Survivor fan, and also is a big sports girly. In college, you'd often see her rollin' down to class on her electric scooter. Alyssa and Sara were roommates in college, surviving a year in a very old house and sharing a very tiny bathroom. Their adventures continued in South Korea that summer, and come the end of that trip, for Sara, escaping the country felt like an episode of Survivor: International Edition (ask her about it). Through it all, Sara is steadfast, full of kindness, wisdom, & carries a deep love for the Lord. Her friendship is genuine, easy to be with, and an absolute gift to have.
Best Man
When Chance first met Cooper, his immediate thought was, “Wow! This guy looks a lot like Carrot Top.” Little did he know that this fiery-haired, comedy-club lookalike would become one of his closest friends—and eventually, co-best man at his wedding. Their friendship took off at the end of freshman year, bonding over Jesus and rock climbing. Since then, they’ve shared countless adventures, from Waco, TX, to Seoul, South Korea. Cooper has spent his last three summers traveling the world, making stops in India, South Korea, and Indonesia, presumably leaving a trail of confused locals wondering why this ginger keeps showing up. Cooper currently lives in Waco, TX and enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, and spending time with his friends. His favorite song is "Heat Waves" by Glass Animals. He has a passion for saving mistreated animals and he spends his spare time volunteering at pet shelters. He can be seen in this picture playing with baby ducks after he rescued them from an unsafe construction site.
Bridesmaid
Nat and Alyssa met when Nat was a freshman at Baylor, but their friendship didn't begin until a spring break mission trip (great place to make friends). Soon afterwards they bonded over surfing at Waco Surf a few times, or at least attempting to. Their friendship quickly turned into post-lifegroup hangs and endless coffee dates, where deep conversations and life-on-life discipleship became the norm. Nat is full of wisdom and lives with deep, genuine faith. She’s a loyal friend who listens with intentionality that makes everyone feel truly seen. Nat is dating Jeremy, one of Chance's best friends and groomsmen, and the four of them spend a lot of time together - usually having a great time until the boys subject them to watching Idiots in Cars on YouTube (ask Jeremy). Through it all, Nat's friendship, wisdom, and sincerity is deeply cherished.
Groomsman
Pictured here celebrating the highly exclusive, one-day-a-week holiday known as Shoeless Tuesday, Jeremy and Chance forged an unbreakable bond through the shared experience of walking barefoot through public spaces. Some called it “edgy.” Others called it “gross.” But to them, it was a sacred tradition—one that produced memories (and probably a few questionable foot infections) that will last a lifetime. Jeremy has the best abs of any groomsman, thanks to his years as a gymnast (what a loser… am I right?). However, he redeemed himself by doing a back handspring across the Baylor football field right before a game (what a stud… am I right?). Before that, he played football at Navarro College, where he somehow managed to win University Homecoming King both years he was there, proving that, yes, good looks can take you farther than most people think. Beyond athletics, Jeremy and Chance also dabbled in the music industry, releasing a hit rap song titled Elephant. Their career was short-lived, but the legend lives on.
Bridesmaid
Alyssa and Sarah's friendship was basically a divine appointment. One day, Alyssa and Carrington were brainstorming a third roommate for housing next year and -poof- Sarah walked into the coffee shop and thus they all became roommates. Coincidence? We think not. Though no longer roommates now, their friendship continues through meeting for lunch every week - Alyssa's favorite kind of lunch break. Sarah is a ball of joyful energy, always up for fun, and so strong in her faith and in who she is. She is a camp counselor & wakeboarding extraordinaire, a dedicated fan of popcorn and gluten-free Oreos, makes for a great concert buddy, and can get genuinely excited about anything. You might spot her cruising to class on her bike or passionately cheering on Baylor at football and basketball games. You can always count on Sarah to be there for you - whether it's watching Alyssa at surf club or surprising Carrington to watch her run the Austin Marathon, Sarah celebrates people well.
Groomsman
Josh Beck is proof that not all computer programmers fit the stereotype—yes, he writes code for a living, but he also showers regularly. He and Chance share the same signature blonde curls, though Josh’s might have a slight edge in volume. Their friendship is built on spontaneity (and questionable decision-making), best exemplified by the time they rolled a dice and ended up road-tripping from Waco to Memphis for a weekend. While there, they fully embraced the local culture by joining a LARPing battle and sneaking into a 5K race—because why not? When he’s not coding, Josh is either working out, spending time with Jesus, or hanging out with friends. Oh, and in case anyone at the wedding is wondering—he’s single.
Bridesmaid
Lexie is the fireball of personality, enthusiasm, and laughter that everyone loves to be around. Alyssa met her in Antioch's prayer room - very on brand - and from there, Lexie became Alyssa's biggest cheerleader & partner-in-crime. Their bond grew over a summer mission trip in South Korea, where they bonded over cherries and outdoor markets. That fall, they led lifegroup together in Waco. These days you'll find them at Rosa's every week for Taco Tuesday - this tradition started in late 2023, and they deserve an award for being Rosa's most dedicated Taco Tuesdayers. When she's not indulging in tacos, Lexie is likely to be found at Antioch, where she works, attends discipleship school, goes to church...and rumor has it she sleeps there too. But soon she'll be moving to Hawaii to hang ten and help start an Antioch Kona church plant, so be sure to give her a big hug at the wedding before she hops on a plane that next week (cue the sad face).
Groomsman
This groomsman is banned from every Hawaiian Falls Waterpark in the country. If having a good time was a man, he'd be Caleb Weaver. Weaver and Chance lived together at "The Shack" for 2 years. During this time, they shared many fun memories, from building a rock climbing wall in the backyard to living "homeless" for a week. Weaver loves rock climbing, and he is so good at it that he doesn't even use ropes sometimes... no matter how many times his roommates tell him not to do that. He is lactose intolerant, but he still tries to tolerate it every now and then. He enjoys having dance parties with himself in the shower and in his truck. Most of all, Weaver loves Jesus, and he loves the people around him with his whole heart.

Meet Mary: the ultimate adventure enthusiast who's down for anything as long as it involves good friends & lots of laughs. Whether its pulling off pranks like covering driveways with tortillas & hot dog wieners, donning a pickle suit to a pickle festival, or rocking out at rodeos, Mary is always all-in. She can hunt & fish & also be the life of the party & beauty queen. But beyond the joy & fun, Mary's heart is bigger than her taxidermy collection. She has an unshakeable zeal for the Lord & a heart for the nations, which is why she's moving to South East Asia next year to serve & spread God's love in all she does. Mary & Alyssa met in 2023 on a spring break mission trip. They soon bonded over Andy's, surf club, & bakeries. Then they spent the summer together in South Korea, sharing the gospel while also playing dress up in Hanbok & eating lots of Korean snacks. In short, if you're looking for someone who's all in on life and faith, Mary's your girl - just make sure to bring extra tortillas and a pickle suit just in case.

Dutch Burns is the kind of guy who can do it all—he plays guitar like a rockstar, sings like he belongs on a world tour, and once landed a plane in a field after an engine failure. Some people collect hobbies, but Dutch collects life-or-death stories. Chance met Dutch sophomore year of college in Cooper’s backyard, and they’ve been great friends ever since, bonding over music, aviation, and an unhealthy amount of Hawaiian Bros. Dutch is also known for his impressive ability to lose things, with his greatest achievement being the time he lost his phone, wallet, and smartwatch all at once in Colombia. Some might call that a disaster—Dutch just calls it a minor inconvenience. Despite his occasional battle with personal belongings, Dutch is one of the most talented guys around. Just don’t ask him to keep track of your stuff at the wedding.
Bridesmaid
Alyssa met Juls in lifegroup and soon discovered their shared love for Colony House when they went to their concert together. Juls is also the biggest fan of Alyssa's mom's famous Coffee Toffee Caramel Crunch cupcake (say that 5 times fast), which is just another small reason she's an elite friend. Their adventures hit a new level when Alyssa road-tripped with Juls from Portland, Oregon, back to Waco after Juls' big-girl internship. From there, they became housemates with Sara in the very old house. They spent their days at church, eating Health Camp, and going on spring break mission trips. Speaking of mission trips, Juls was a real friend when she courageously retrieved Alyssa's contact from a questionable hotel sink pipe. A brave hero. (And no, we don't need to talk about whether or not Alyssa continued to wear the contact after that). Beyond the funny moments, Juls has a heart of gold and naturally displays the kindness of God. She serves and loves others so well, bringing people into community and making them feel truly seen. Oh, and she's single. Just saying!!
Groomsman
Hailing from the frozen tundra of Minnesota, Caleb and Chance met early freshman year of college, and somehow, their friendship survived despite him nearly getting Chance struck by lightning (true story). Now, he’s the only married groomsman—he and his wife, Aly, will have celebrated two years of wedded bliss by the time of the wedding, which means he’s officially our resident expert on marriage advice and making responsible life choices. By day, Caleb sells insurance for Federated, ensuring that businesses are covered for all kinds of disasters—except, apparently, lightning-related incidents. By night, he meticulously crafts Excel spreadsheets for fun (yes, really) and judges coffee with the intensity of a Michelin-starred food critic. If the coffee isn’t brewed at exactly 202 degrees with beans sourced from an obscure farm in Ethiopia, he’s not interested. He and Aly have a golden doodle named Molly, who may or may not outrank him in household decision-making. If you see Caleb at the wedding, just ask him about pivot tables or pour-over brewing methods—he’ll be happy to talk your ear off.

You'll never guess where Carrington and Alyssa met: spring break mission trip. Crazy right?! From that moment on, life got a whole lot more fun. Known affectionately as C10, Carrington is wise beyond her years, overflowing with joy, and always up to something that will have everyone (including herself) laughing. She can bust a move on the dance floor, is a great concert buddy, and has an impressive avoidance of chicken. Alyssa and Carrington were roommates senior year, sharing a wealth of sweet memories. When she's not out training for a marathon (seriously, add her on Strava), she's probably indulging in creamy jalapeno ranch dip or Diet Coke, riding her ripstick, hanging with her corgi Sophie, or scouting for the best scone in town (ask her about her scone competition). Carrington always shows up, ready to support and celebrate others. And you'll always the best cheer squad rallying behind her at every race, because she is also just that easy to love and support. Oh, and did we mention? She's single. And she loves Chuy's. Do with that information what you will.
Groomsman
Sonny is the definition of selflessness—so much so that he once let his roommates stack random household items on his head while he slept because their hands were full. Some might call that deep generosity; others might call it a lack of self-preservation. Either way, it’s admirable. Chance and Sonny have been great friends since meeting at the Baylor rock wall during Chance’s sophomore year, bonding over their shared love for the outdoors, friendly competition, and the occasional existential chess match. These matches follow a predictable pattern: Chance wins, Sonny sulks in the corner, and then Chance takes pity on him and lets him win a couple of games. It’s a beautiful cycle. When he’s not climbing, hiking, or emotionally recovering from chess losses, Sonny can be found securing “Fortnite Dubs” with Jeremy or studying neuroscience at Baylor—because, apparently, understanding the human brain is just a side hobby for him. His greatest claim to fame, however, is mercilessly eliminating Alyssa from a nerf war *on her birthday.* A bold move, but we respect the commitment to victory.
