FAQs

The Wedding Website of Chamodya Tharudee Weerasekara and Harrison Chapman Morris
Question

When should I rsvp by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than August 1, 2026. If you do not RSVP in time, we will assume that you are unable to attend. We will miss celebrating with you, but it's imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given us. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 6:30 PM. We ask that guests arrive 30 minutes before so that everyone can be seated on time.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! We are requesting Black-Tie dress code for the evening. We encourage our guests to overdress as much as possible and also feel free to wear south asian attire as well. For men, this means either tuxedos, black or navy suits with a tie or bow tie. For women, floor-length evening gowns, saris, lehengas, salwars are all encouraged! For any inspiration, please refer to this Pinterest board: https://pin.it/RBYNcpu72 (Please note that our bridesmaids will be in burgundy lehengas, a red with a hint of purple)

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is to be fully present as we say our vows. We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you would like!

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guest(s) formally invited on your wedding invitations will be accommodated. If you receive a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you - so get ready to party! For this reason, we encourage you to drive wisely or take advantage of Uber or Lyft.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, due to the requirements of our venue, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of some immediate family. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Question

Where should we park?

Answer

There's a designated parking lot in front of the venue with plenty of spots for everyone!

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Please let us know! We are absolutely happy to accommodate, and there will be a spot when you RSVP where you can list your allergies or dietary restrictions.
