Letchworth State Park
Nicknamed the "Grand Canyon of the East", Letchworth is a wonderful place to spend an hour or a whole week. There are loads of hiking trails both near and far from crowds and the falls, picturesque lookouts, playgrounds, picnic spots, and even a swimming pool. White water rafting (more like floating...definitely family friendly) here is a Chamberlain-family favorite!
Genesee County Park
If you don't want to drive all the way to Letchworth, "GCP" (as we call it) has some lovely picnic spots and hiking trails. If you have kiddos with you (or if you don't!), check out the Interpretive Center. There are several playgrounds throughout the park as well.
Niagara Falls
Although I threw some shade at the top of the page, Niagara Falls is an incredible place to visit while in WNY. If you have time, check out Maid of the Mist and/or walk to Canada!
Albright-Knox Art Gallery
If weather is not so nice, or you aren't the hiking type, Albright-Knox is a wonderful art gallery to explore in Buffalo.
Eli Fish Brewing Co.
Eli Fish is Batavia, NY's first brewery, and happens to be one of Lindsay & Sean's favorite restaurants.
Amber Lantern Brewing Company
The only brewery in Wyoming County! Great little place to grab a burger, with a fun but cozy atmosphere...if you are from Wisconsin you'll feel right at home. Walking distance(ish) from the Microtel!
Warsaw Village Park
This park is about 1.5 miles from the Microtel! There may or may not be a sick waterfall in the woods behind the park...:)

Yummies is hard to beat...homemade, delicious ice cream.
