Maid of Honor
Maddie has been my built in best friend since the day she was born. We grew up as cousins but were raised more like siblings. The two of us have attended sooo many bridal showers and weddings together. We have been planning our weddings since we were little and it was no surprise when I "popped" the maid of honor question to her. Maddie has been my sounding board, my twisted sister and the only other person who understands how crazy our family can be. I honestly don't think I could have even started wedding planning had it not been for Maddie's support and enthusiasm. If you see anyone helping to straighten my dress, pinning back a stray curl or fixing my makeup, it will be her because she thinks of everything! She goes out of her way to make me feel special and I know my day will be beyond magical with her as my maid of honor.
Best Man
Colin and I met when he first started teaching at Jackson High School. I was less than excited to be mentoring a new teacher in a class I had never taught, but soon administration discovered Colin and I were a force to be reckoned with. We hit it off like we had been friends since childhood, nerding out on all things science. He has been a friend who I go to for life advice, a sounding board for ideas and help with projects around the house. I can always count on Colin to be up for a round of golf or to help bail me out when a home improvement project takes longer than what my future wife had been promised. Our friendship has continued to grow throughout these past few years and I am excited to have him by my side on this most special day.
Bridesmaid
Amberly and I grew up together. As our dads would say, "My neighbors babies". Our friendship started out on good old Hillview way after my family moved to Ohio. Amber and I spent long days playing pioneers, making weird foods (that we forced our brothers to try), eating cookie dough ice cream and playing endless games of wiffleball with our brothers. When I say we were inseparable, I mean we spent every summer and every weekend, from sunrise to sunset together. After asking Amber to be a bridesmaid she and I laughed thinking about how on the big day I will most likely have 3 grown men crying; My dad, My uncle and Mr. Dan (Amber's dad). Amber shares many of my favorite childhood memories. and my bridal party wouldn't be complete without her.

Chan is one of Chalee's 3 brothers. The first day I met Chan, was actually the first day I met Chalee. I was bringing Cha home after our first date and offered to take her two youngest brothers for some ice cream. In hearing my offer, Chan replied, "I don't know who this guy is. But I am hungry and there is no food in this house." From that night on I learned the ways to Chan's heart were food, movie quotes and talking sports. Although we don't always see eye to eye on who to cheer for on Sundays (Browns vs Steelers), we usually have a fun time no matter the outcome. I am excited to add Chan as a brother and excited to him stand with me on my wedding date.
Bridesmaid
Jenny Lynn and I met in gym class Sophomore year of high school when our competitive personalities pushed us to be teammates and successfully winning a badminton tournament LOL. Our friendship carried us through all of high school and to our second home, Kent State. Jen and I shared an itty bitty dorm room together and we managed to only slam the door on each other a handful of times. Aside from family, and now Oliver, Jen is the only other person who knows what its like to have me as a roommate. From our little dorm room in Koonce hall, to our duplex in the boondocks of Meloy road and then our final college move to the Miller house, we have always had each others backs. Jen has been the person I run to whenever life gets hard, she's been there through it all and I can always count on her to make sure I never party without a drink in my hand!

Ted has been one of the best big brothers a kid could ask for in life. He has been there for me throughout my life and I know he is only ever a phone call away. Some of my fondest memories of us include; playing video games, four-wheeling and taking trips to amusement parks. Ted used recruit me to clean out his car and would bribe me by letting me keep any money I found. I always left that deal with pockets full of change and Ted got a car that was cleaner... well kinda. Through guidance and brotherly talks, I came to understand myself better. I am proud to call him my big brother and have him stand with me on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Sar and I became friends my freshman year of college when she and I both joined the Kent State Women's Rugby team. She was the Flyhalf to my Scrumhalf and we took our coach's advice seriously after being told we should be best friends both on and off the pitch. Our friendship truly blossomed over a bag of beef jerky on a long bus trip to Iowa. After that we were inseparable. We also shared the love and understanding of having our grandmas as our best friends and dreamed of the days they would meet. I still have no doubt that God blessed me with Sarah so I had someone who truly understood. I know our bridal party wouldn't be complete without Sar and perhaps a few rugby songs (;
Groomsman
Since Chalee and I started dating, Devan has been one of the first people to always volunteer to lend a helping hand with the home improvement projects I take on. He’s helped with broken air conditioners, car engine troubles, heavy machinery, manual labor and floods that turned our house into a lake house. After all the times he’s leant a helping hand, I know that if I’m ever in need of an extra set of hands Devan will be there to help. From what i've been told, and what I've seen, Dev and Cha have been known to fight like cats and dogs. He may be the only person in the world who has spent more time than I have, in the boxing ring with Cha. And let me tell ya, that changes a man! I’m excited to be gaining him as a brother and excited to have him stand with me on my wedding day!
Bridesmaid
Nicole has never been a name I have used and I felt funny even typing it! Fog and I were teammates at Kent State and I always knew she was out there covering my back. There was even a time when she screamed "dont hurt her!!!" when playing a team who had repeatedly been targeting me. Fog is as loyal as they come. She pushes me to be a better person and is someone I love discussing all things behavior and psychology with. Fog was another beautiful soul that I shared a college house with and I still dream of her breakfast feasts. Some of my favorite college memories are with Foggy and I cannot wait to have her be a part of my wedding day!
Groomsman
George and I met at Kent State Stark in a chemistry lab. We became lab partners and the rest is "synthesized" history. As we worked our way through chem 1 all the way to inorganic chem our friendship became stronger than a covalent bond. Our time at Kent State Stark was filled with study sessions, nights out downtown and time spent at the doublewide. George is the reason I have been a Jackson teacher for the last 7 years, I would have never applied, had he not called. He is one of the most dependable people I have ever met. He is there for you when a couch needs moved, when you need a break from city life or a buddy to share a beer with. I am truly blessed to have him as a friend and to have him stand with me on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Elizabeth (Beth), is Oliver's cousin and someone whom I have grown very fond of over the last four years. I will never forget my first real Dorkoff family gathering. I was so nervous and thought for sure I was going to puke, feeling my cheeks burning red. But then there was Beth and her sister Emily, who welcomed me with open arms. After that first Christmas, I would, and still to this day, flock to Beth's side at every family gathering. I can always count on her to whisper under her breath and help me identify each family member that comes to chat. I am forever grateful for Beth and her ability to graciously fill any awkward silence that comes our way. She is one of the sweetest people i've ever met and I am so excited to become part of her family!
Groomsman
Charlie has been one of the best big brothers a kid could ask for in life. He has always been there to give me advice, wether I asked for it or not. He helped fulfill my life long dream of having Browns season tickets (Dawg Pound). Our fun together didn't end when the Browns season was over, we share a love of fireworks despite our moms worry and we found a way to make every game a blood bath competition... even connect four. I am grateful to God for giving me a big brother like Charlie and I am grateful to have him stand with me on the big day.
Bridesmaid
Emily is Oliver's cousin and truly the girl version of my future husband. Emily's bubbly spirit was a blessing when Oliver first started bringing me around to family gatherings. She plopped down right beside me, completely ignoring my social anxiety and fully embracing the idea of having a "new favorite cousin". Our relationship has grown a lot since then and I have spent many weekends with sore ribs from all the laughing we do. She is the first person to know the scoop on the inner workings of the Dorkoff grapevine and she never fails to fill me in. Emily is always up for any kind of adventure or shenanigans and she can often be found using sign language to communicate to me from across the bar. We know our bridal party wouldn't be complete without Emily!
Groomsman
Cole is the youngest of Chalee’s brothers. Before even meeting Cole or Chan, I had been warned that Cha's brothers were her favorite part of life, knowing them was to know Cha's heart. Cole and I first met when I arrived at the Fronk’s house to pick up Chalee for our first date . He glared into my soul as I drove up to their house. If you know the Fronk kids, you know change and/or strangers are not something they welcome easily lol. After we officially met and he realized I was an okay guy, we bonded over playing Fortnite and Rocket League together on the playstation. He was very patient with me as I learned the new games and honestly, he had a lot of dead weight to pull at times. Cole is always there to help out around our house, to hop on the playstation or come spend time with Rubee. I’m extremely proud to be adding him as a brother and excited to have him stand with me on this special day.
Flower Girl
Vivian is the cutest niece anyone could ever ask for! We love Viv so much and know she will steal the show, and everyone's hearts as she walks down the isle.
Ring Bearer
Look out world! This little guy has ring security locked down. Archie will surely keep the crowd entertained and on their toes as he makes his way down the isle.
