If you plan to just come for the ceremony then you only need to come for one night. We do suggest if you can come the day before to do so, this way you don't have to worry if you have a delay at the airport. If you wish to stay longer then do so. We plan to stay in the parks for about a week and a half after our ceremony so feel free to stay and hang out with us.
Short answer is no. While we will have rooms blocked for guests to stay on property, it is not required. These rooms will be at a discounted rate. The rooms will also be budget friendly, but if you choose to stay elsewhere that is completely fine. We do highly recommend staying on property and booking though our link for the some of the best rates. Also we plan on providing transportation to and from the ceremony but it will be limited to the hotels we have picked.
If you are staying on any Disney property you will have the option in using a card provided or you can buy a Magic Band (highly recommend). These bands will be used as your room keys, park tickets, and can be used to make purchases on Disney properties. Along with the bands there is an app (My Disney Experience) that makes managing everything easy. You can use this app to check in early, to track expenses on your magic bands, check wait times in parks and also book food reservations. We highly suggest one person in your group have this app to make things easier but it is not required.
Yes children are welcome to attend. Just be advised that this will be a long day and we all know kids can get cranky as the day drags on so be prepaired for this. As a bonus if you want some time alone Disney has a few options for babysitting. They offer in room child care both on and off property. There is a minimum of 4 hours of care. There is a $12 travel fee, and rates start at $20 a hour for 1 child, $23 a hour for 2 children etc. It increases $3 per extra child.
Depends. If your invitation does say plus one then you are welcome to bring anyone you choose. Unfortunately if it does not say that then we do request that those who have been formally invited only come. If you plan on making this a vacation then of course you are welcome to travel with others, but just remind them that on the 22nd you will not be around for most of the day.
Of course! Drinks will be provided and available all night. While it isn't required we do encourage leaving a tip for that lovely drink in your hand
This is a tricky one. It shouldn't be a big issue with pricing and availability. Prices will be slightly higher than the normal off season price but it should still be affordable. We do suggest that if you plan on staying in the parks and having park tickets to try to book those as soon as possible. There may still be limits on park capacities and each park ticket needs to be assigned a park when purchased to make sure u can actually go inside. This policy may be removed but we want to plan as though it will still be in place.
Yes. If you need to get from the airport to the hotel Mears provides a shuttle bus to and from the hotels. Copy the link below to set up a reservation: https://www.mearsconnect.com/?AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1 For any guest staying on Disney property we will be providing transportation to and from the ceremony location, reception, and our surprise event. Those off property will need to make their way to the ceremony location. They can catch a ride on the bus to the reception location but will need to provide their own way back to their hotel afterwards. While continuing your stay at Disney, the hotel does have busses to each park that run often. More details will be available at the hotel For those also staying on Disney property there is transportation to and from all the parks to each hotel and to Disney springs. This is included with your stay so please take advantage of this.
