Rainbow Row is the name for a series of colorful historic houses in Charleston, South Carolina. The houses are located north of Tradd St. and south of Elliot St. on East Bay Street. It is referred to as Rainbow Row for the pastel colors used to paint all of the houses. It is a popular tourist attraction and is one of the most photographed parts of Charleston.

With a history of more than 300 years, King Street Charleston SC is the second most historically and architecturally significant street in downtown Charleston after Meeting Street. The French Quarter is a small neighborhood on the Southeastern corner of the peninsula. It gets its name from the high concentration of French Huguenots that immigrated and lived in this area. There are many historic churches in the French Quarter - French Huguenot and St. Philip's Episcopal Church are some of the most impressive. There are also countless art galleries. The French Quarter is known to be the most romantic of the Charleston's districts. Great area for a walking tour!

At 4:30 a.m. on April 12, 1861, Confederate troops fired on Fort Sumter in South Carolina's Charleston Harbor. Less than 34 hours later, Union forces surrendered. Traditionally, this event has been used to mark the beginning of the Civil War. If you are a history buff, this is the tour for you!

Middleton Place National Historic Landmark is home to America's oldest and most important landscaped gardens. Began in 1741, the historic site today encompasses 110 acres including the Gardens, House Museum, Stableyards, and Eliza's House. Together they tell the inclusive history of all who lived, worked, and died here. The stories of the Middleton family including two Founding Fathers and generations of enslaved people are interwoven throughout the property. Visitors have opportunities to experience those stories with both guided or self-guided tours.
