Listen: we know enough people with kids to know that giving permission to leave your kids at home can sometimes be a gift. (So, in that case, you're welcome.) If you're furious at us because of this, just know that the wedding venue has a strict cap and truly isn't kid-friendly. You're more than welcome to bring your kids to town, we'd just rather save you the headache when they try to wander into the orchestra pit for the 3rd time while you're trying to take a shot.
