The Wedding Website of Ryan Bernsten and Chad Staatz
Join us in Madison, Wisconsin, for a weekend with equal parts elegance and chaos, Spotted Cow and tied knots. We’ll gather Friday night beneath the Capitol Square for local brews, laughter, and toasts at The Great Dane’s historic Rathskeller. Saturday morning, stroll through the iconic Dane County Farmers’ Market—a Madison must, if you’re an early riser or simply curious about what cheese curds look like at 8 a.m. In the afternoon, we’ll exchange vows in an intimate ceremony in the Senate Parlor of the Wisconsin State Capitol, followed by photos on the Capitol steps and an Art Deco-inspired celebration at the Capitol Theater: cocktail hour, dinner, speeches, roasts, and dancing under moody chandeliers. Sunday there are no obligations (you're welcome!). Sleep in, sip a latte, or visit the Henry Vilas Zoo before heading home. However you spend it, we can’t wait to celebrate, laugh, and raise a glass with you in the heart of Madison.

Farmers Market (optional but necessary)Farmers Market (optional but necessary)

7:00 am - 1:00 pm

Stop by the Dane County Farmers Market, Madison’s crown jewel and one of the largest producer-only farmers’ markets in the country. Every Saturday morning, the Capitol Square transforms into a ring of local farmers, bakers, cheesemakers, flower growers, and food vendors from across Wisconsin. It’s equal parts community ritual, food pilgrimage, and Midwestern theater.

Following the ceremony — an intimate gathering in the Capitol's historic Senate Parlor which only accommodates a cozy few — the full party will kick off the celebration with a group photo on the southwest steps of the Wisconsin State Capitol. The southwest Capitol steps overlook Grace Episcopal Church, the Gothic Revival church at 116 W Washington on Capitol Square.
