Travel Note

Accommodations

We haven’t stayed at hotels in Seoul ourselves, but we’ve shared a few that looked good from our research. Airbnb is great for families or groups (some even in traditional hanok homes), and guesthouses can be a fun, budget-friendly way to experience a neighborhood. 💡 We wouldn’t recommend staying in Myeongdong unless you’re looking for a very touristy, busy vibe. Seoul has plenty of options for every budget and style, and we’ve also made a travel guide with more neighborhoods and hotel picks—let us know if you’d like a copy!

689 Samyang-ro, Gangbuk-gu, Seoul 01000, South Korea

Anto is a peaceful, resort-style hotel set against the backdrop of Bukhansan National Park. It’s one of the closest hotels to our venue, Sunwoongak (about 5–10 minutes by car), making it very convenient on the wedding day. However, it is located outside of central Seoul and is far from most major attractions (about 40–60 minutes by car to downtown areas like Myeongdong, Insadong, or Gyeongbokgung).
