We're finally getting married!

We had a class together at Texas State's Round Rock campus. Chad had previously taken all of his classes at the main campus in San Marcos, but one of the classes he originally signed up for dissolved at the last minute. Because it was a core class, he had to take it, and the only open class left was at the Round Rock campus where Melissa went full-time. Chad was this long-haired, laid-back, cool guy, while Melissa was the loud-mouthed, opinionated, and sarcastic nerd in the front of the class. Chad claims to have scoped Melissa out the entire semester, but Melissa had no idea he was interested whatsoever. We spoke every class, but mostly about school work, sports, etc. Near the end of the semester, Chad finally mustered up the courage to ask Melissa where there was a "good place to grab a drink around here" since he lived in San Antonio. Melissa told him about the restaurant BJ's down the road, so Chad asked her to join him. Unbeknownst to her, she had agreed to what Chad still refers to as our first date. A few weeks later, Chad reached out to Melissa saying he had a great time and wanted to go out again sometime. That's when Melissa realized she had had her gazillionth blonde moment and figured out that he had a crush on her. They obviously went out again and again, and the rest is history ❤
