Rewind a few weeks. During Christmas break we met on a dating app. We matched and started chatting. Chad asked Julie if she worked in Levelland and she said yes. He asked what grade and campus. Turns out Chad’s oldest nephew was in the first grade class across the hall and Chad also worked in the district at the high school. We talked most of break and decided to meet at Starbucks in Levelland on January 2nd after our professional development day to start spring semester. We went to Starbucks and met in person for the first time. We sat and had coffee/tea (which Chad doesn’t even like coffee) for 5 hours that evening! Conversation flowed very easily. Even though we both grew up in Levelland and knew some of the same people, our paths had never crossed. After that we went on several dates and really enjoyed spending time together. On January 17 we officially started dating and the rest is history.
