Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Diane Johnson and Chad Dancak
Meet a few of the wonderful people who are formally helping us tie the knot.

Pastor Bruce Judy

Officiant

Pastor Bruce Judy was the senior pastor at the First United Methodist Church for the last 8 years. He retired in June (and we will miss him), but he graciously agreed to counsel us through our marriage classes and perform our wedding ceremony... even when we shook things up on him. Thank you, Pastor Bruce! We're so grateful that you were here to do this for us!!!

Chad Dancak

Groom

He's the lucky man who didn't notice where Diane lived when he started dating her. (Surely that was God's hand at work.) I'm told he had some serious style in high school, and I know you'll have no trouble spotting Chad at the ceremony. He's the good looking fellow at the end of the aisle next to Pastor Bruce.

Diane Johnson

Bride

She almost scared Chad away on their first date because she was laughing so hard at the teeny tiny beach at their agreed-upon meeting spot. She'll be a bit more composed at the wedding... we hope. You'll recognize her... she's the one in white.

Lynn Hovis

Bridesmaid

Lynn is sister of the bride. a loving wife, and proud mother of two amazing people... and also an cookie table organizer extraordinaire. Among other wedding contributions, Lynn is responsible for coordinating the family bakers who are bringing you the delicious treats when you get to the reception and being the primary baker. If you like the cookie table, give Lynn a hug.

Janis McCoy

Bridesmaid

Janis is sister of the bride, a devoted wife, dynamic mother of two amazing people, and also a highly decisive get-it-done girl. Janis was instrumental in cutting through the red tape to get bridesmaid outfits wrangled. "Get it Done" PROBABLY should be her middle name. And can you think of someone better to have as a bridesmaid? She also kept the bride focused and sane during some very challenging wedding planning moments, and that was no small feat. Thank you!

Barbara Bilowich

Bridesmaid

Loving wife of Chris, selfless researcher in cardio-pulmonary physical therapy, and long time co-conspirator with the bride-to-be, Barbara is our representative cool head and thoughtful adviser on the bridal party. Barb has been one of Diane's closest friends for over 3 decades. And the time has flown. But don't let Barb's composed exterior and brainy demeanor fool you; she'll probably be the first person to help Diane plan shenanigans at this classy affair. (Seriously. The bride has stories.)

Keith Bialko

Groomsman

Loving husband and father to two great kids, Keith is a devoted family man, He's been a close friend of the groom since they were in middle school together and they have accumulated a lot of good stories over that time. (Lets pry some out of him at the reception, shall we? The bride wants to hear a few.) Keith served his country in the US Navy and now he builds custom cabinets in Ohio.

Jason Koerth

Groomsman

Loving husband and doting father of three, Jason is also a cousin to the groom. When not focusing on his family, Jason is an entrepreneur with his own graphic design business and is coach to Hermitage High School baseball team. But from what I have heard, Jason may not be the best person to help you find your car in a large parking lot (or more precisely, after a Steelers game), so consider yourself forewarned.

Robert McCoy

Usher

Loving husband and devoted father to two great people, Robert is also the brother-in-law of the bride-to-be. (BTW, Diane skips the in-law part these days.) Robert has led many medical areas within Pittsburgh's hospitals, but he's also an avid mountain biker. Robert is funny and quick witted, making him great company at any family gathering. (Please share him at the reception.) Robert and Chad may need to have a leg contest some day... for the most scrapes and cuts. (I'm just saying guys...)

Cliff Hovis

Presenting the Bride

Cliff is a loving husband and devoted father to his children and daughter-in-law. He's also a successful entrepreneur in the tertiary automotive market. But the bride calls him "brother," and has asked him to walk her down the aisle on the big wedding day, so you won't have any trouble spotting Cliff on August 16th. You should also be forewarned that Cliff LOVES to tease his sister, Diane. And he's been winding up slowly with Chaz. :)
