Our Ceremony

We've already gotten calls asking for advice. We get it... it's an evening summer wedding. The bridal party will be in gowns and suits. And if you want to dress up, you can. But here are a few ideas that would fit right in from our vantage point: a casual summer suit, a button down shirt & tie with casual pants, a summer dress, a pretty skirt & top combo, a blouse and dress pants.
The church has beautiful stained glass windows, and I know that you'll enjoy them. And yes, the church is air conditioned and the pews have padded seats.
Our Reception
7:00 pm - 10:30 pm

We'll be coming from the ceremony, so attire is the same for the reception dinner as it is for the ceremony.
The Wooden Nickel is about 20 minutes drive from the church. The turn for Berger Lane is less like a street sign than we'd like. It looks like you are turing into PetCo in Monroeville, in my opinion, but that road will take you back to the restaurant. My advice is to actively use your GPS on your phone when driving there. Our guests can enjoy cocktails at this beautiful restaurant while the wedding party gets a few photos taken. (We won't be long.) We'll have a plated dinner, so please be sure to RSVP with your dinner choice. All dinners will be served with a plated house salad with champagne vinaigrette, as well as roll and butter. Please select your dinner when you RSVP. We'll also have a cookie table and, of course, wedding cake.
