The money dance is a tradition practiced in Filipino & Chamorro culture to symbolize financial abundance. Men dance with the bride after pinning money on her. Women dance with the groom after pinning money on him. Small hype circles are also welcome! Usually, people will make crowns, sashes, etc. out of cash to pin on the bride or groom. There will be cash available at the reception, where you can Venmo/Zelle a designated person before the dance. Dances will be limited to 30-45 seconds due to time constraints.
We will have two different kinds of guest books at the wedding that are both fun and unique! There will be an audio guest book provided by 'After The Tone'. Guests can leave an audio message at the reception by simply picking up a special designated phone, speaking into it and then hanging up. There will also be a deck of playing cards that guests can sign. Carina and Chad plan to turn it into an art piece once it's all done!
