Thank you for celebrating our big day with us! We're so grateful to have an awesome village of family and friends. First, we want to recognize our parents for loving us unconditionally and playing a major role in who we are today. To everyone else, thank you for showing us love and support throughout the different chapters of our lives whether you’re family, longtime friends, or new friends — our hearts are so full! As we (Chad and Carina) become one and enter into a covenant with the Lord, we pray our marriage will reflect the nature of God's relationship with the church, then bring love and joy to everyone in our circle and beyond. We truly appreciate you. You have a seat at our table. Now, let's party!

In the Fall of 2022, Chad and Carina first matched on a dating app. He left her a message about going on a date but Carina never replied. They matched on another dating app again, but nothing happened. Chad might have tried to match with Carina a third time over the course of a few months. Neither of them remember if that's actually true. In May 2023, Chad slid in the DMs. He found her Instagram and sent her a lengthy, heartfelt message that ended with "Here's my number if you want to take a chance." Chad picked Carina up for their first date the following month. It was their first time seeing each other in person. They had dinner at Sam's Chowder House in Half Moon Bay. After dinner, they walked along the coast at The Ritz-Carlton and talked until the sun went down. They ended the night with McDonald's hot chocolate before Chad dropped Carina home. P.S. Chad wants to make it abundantly clear that Barbara's Fishtrap is the GOAT.

After a long day of boating around the island of Palawan, Chad and Carina joined family for a sunset dinner on the beach in El Nido. The all-white dinner set a romantic vibe with string lights, island decor, and live music. When Chad and Carina walked up to the family, they were rushed to take their couple pictures before the sun went down. While they were posing, an auntie told Carina to walk forward but look at the camera. Carina turned around to find Chad on one knee a couple of seconds later. She cried as he gave her a long explanation as to why he wants to marry her. Carina said yes three times (maybe four) before he was even done talking. For those wondering... She kind of knew, but not completely!
