We are sure everyone has lots of questions, and we realize there isn’t a place here for anyone to post. We created an email that we both have access to, so all of you can ask any questions you might have. We both have crazy work schedules, so email is always best. We’ve added a few options on the travel page of this site. Feel free to research any hotels or homes in the Florida Keys! Homeaway.com, vrbo.com, Airbnb.com are also good options! The room block at Amara Cay is active! See the next question for the details.

How do we reserve a room at Amara Cay?

Please also keep in mind the groups cut-off date. Please remember that reservations must be made by 04/16/19. Any reservations made after the cut-off date may not receive the group rate and are subject to availability and the best available rate. A credit card is required to guarantee the reservations at time of booking. However, the first nights room and tax charge will not be charged to your card until 72 hours prior to arrival. The remainder of the stay will be charged to the credit card upon check out.

Absolutely! Formal invitations will be sent in the next few months, closer to the holidays.

How do we get there?

Answer

You can fly into either Miami or Ft Lauderdale, or Key West. The drive is about 1.5 - 2 hours from any of the above airports. Rental cars are recommended, if not necessary.

What should we wear?

Answer

The wedding will be beach formal, and on the beach. Anything you would wear to a nice restaurant would be appropriate! Keep in mind it may be hot and sunny! 😎 No suits or ties please. This is the Florida Keys! Sundresses, flip flops and short sleeves are totally acceptable.
