Our Adventure Begins!

New York City 👰🏼 meets Minnesota 🤵 Cara spent the last 20 years in the city that never sleeps, but never quite found what she was looking for. Chad spent the last 20 years meeting countless people, working and traveling, but couldn’t find the place or person he wanted to spend forever with. It’s been a long and winding road for both of us, and somehow, we both landed in SW Florida. We met in downtown Ft Myers, in February 2016. We clicked instantly! It was as if we had known each other for years, and we have been inseparable ever since.

Chad proposed on Christmas Eve last year, on the front porch of our new house, under the twinkling Christmas lights! I was totally shocked, and thrilled, and in my PAJAMAS!!! In my defense, it was well after midnight 🤪

One of the million things we have in common, is a love for the Florida Keys. Both of us have been going there since childhood, and those islands have a very special place in our hearts. Living in Punta Gorda, we are able to go there often to recharge our batteries and enjoy our paradise. There was no question, that the Florida Keys would be where we would get married!
