Ground Transportation Options

Part of the charm of Northern Michigan is that it less developed and a slower pace of life than big cities or the suburbs. Because of this, no ride share services are available. You will not be able to call and Uber or Lyft. For this reason, we recommend those flying in reserve a rental a car in advance of the trip! This also will allow you the option to explore many of the towns in the area, including Harbor Spring, Charlevoix, and Petoskey! Transportation will be provided to and from the hotel blocks for the wedding. Individuals attending the welcome party will need to arrange their own transportation.

Chery Capital Airport - Traverse City (TVC)

Traverse City is about hour and fifteen minutes from Walloon Lake and has many direct flights from places like Detroit, New York, Chicago, Minneapolis, and Orlando!

Pellston Regional Airport (PLN)

Pellston is a small regional airport about 40 minutes to Walloon Lake with direct flights from Detroit (DTW) on Delta.
