Val was super home sick when she first arrived at school, and when she finally decided to give college a real try and talk to people, Alma and Val hit it off. They even share the same birthday! Val lives in Corpus Chrisiti, TX however their friendship remains as close as ever, and talk every day. 22 years of friendship and counting!

After both of their roommates dropped out of college after the first semester, Alma and Paty decided to room together in room 209 at Wagley Hall. Not only were they roommates, but fellow dance team members as well, so to say they spent a lot of their time in college together, is an understatement. Paty and Alma have remained close friends for 23 years, and still talk every day.

Alma and Selinda are friends of 22 years and also met in college. As teammates of the Southern Belles dance team, they formed a strong friendship. Selinda is the sweetest of the bunch and is usually the voice of reason when things start to get a little crazy. Although Selinda lives in San Antonio Texas, their friendship is still going strong.

Alma and Josey met 13 years ago at a work event and instantly became friends. After having known each other for a few years, Josey suggested that Alma meet her brother, but the timing was never right. That is until 2019 when he finally reached out to her. So not only are Alma and Josey good friends, but future sister in laws as well!
