Is it safe to eat the food at the resort?

Answer

Yes, all food is prepared under the same rules & regulations as it is here in the States.

Will drinking the water really make you sick?

Answer

Yes, drinking tap water in Mexico might make you sick. It is recommended that you only drink bottled water, which is provided at all bars/restaurants on the property.

What about the ice in my drink? Is that safe?

Yes, all ice provided to resorts is made from filtered water.

Do I need to bring Mexican Pesos to make purchases?

Answer

This is optional. US Dollars & credit cards are accepted almost everywhere.

How much tip money do I need?

Answer

This really depends on how long you plan to stay, but i would recommend bringing at least $200 ($1 bills), to tip shuttle drivers, bell boys, and most importantly the bartenders and waiters at the resort.

Do I need to know how to speak Spanish to communicate?

Answer

No, this is a very touristy part of Mexico. Majority of the people here know English.
