Matron of Honor
Erika and Shelley met during Summer Marching Band in 2009. They became inseparable during Winter Drumline 2009-2010 where they played the Marimba together. They were so inseparable that people started referring to them as ShaKira (Shelley is Sha and Erika is Kira). 100s of miles may separate the pair but the bond that they have formed has kept them close throughout the years. We may not live across town from each other anymore but I am honored to have the Kira to my Sha stand by me while I marry the love of my life. I wouldn’t be able to make it through my wedding day without you by my side. -Shelley
Best Man
Alex and Ricky met due to an unfortunate bus mishap when Ricky was in eighth grade but did not become friends until later when they were both in high school. They have gone on many adventures together including driving all over the country from California to Boston and back, they have seen most of the country together. Alex has been there for most of the important things in Ricky's life including going to pick him up from Dayton because his car was too much of a piece of junk to get him there. Alex, I’m glad your going to be up there standing next to me while I marry Shelley because there is a good chance I would get lost on my way there if you weren't. Glad to have you as one of my best friends I am sure I wouldn’t have made it this far without you. -Ricky
Bridesmaid
Allison and Shelley have been friends since Shelley was born because they are cousins! With both of them only having brothers they are more like sisters rather than cousins. Every major event in Shelley’s life she has shared with Allison, from the turn of the century to Shelley’s Confirmation. So Shelley couldn’t think of anyone better to have standing by her on the biggest day of her life. We are not only cousins or sisters but we are best friends! I am so honored to have you standing by my side as I marry Ricky! -Shelley
Groomsman
Brian and Ricky met in high school but did not become better friends until they lived downtown together. From downtown bar hopping every Friday to going to every beer festival that Cleveland had to offer. They had a lot of fun the year that they lived downtown. Brian, there are a lot of things that I probably would have missed if we did not live at Tower Press for a year. Like Eric calling me the wrong name all year and finding out Masthead is the best bar in Cleveland. I had tons of fun and I am glad that we did it. Glad to have you up there as one of my groomsmen. -Ricky
Bridesmaid
Jessica and Shelley met through Ricky in 2015 but became best friends when Shelley and Ricky moved into the same apartment building as Jessica and her husband, Eric. Between wine nights, playing Picolo every Friday night, and locking themselves out of their apartments Jessica and Shelley are always there for each other. I can’t imagine my life without you in it so of course I knew I needed to have you standing by my side on my wedding day! - Shelley
Groomsman
Eric and Ricky met when Eric was attending college at Baldwin Wallace University. Ricky and Eric clicked pretty much immediately and have been friends ever since. From the fun at BW to the weekends spent at country concerts that they may have not wanted to go to. Eric we have had a great relationship since we met and it will only continue to get more interesting. You and your wife prevent me and Shelley from being lame and sitting at home on weekends. Cannot wait to see what the future brings! -Ricky
Bridesmaid
Haley and Shelley met while at the University of Dayton in the Army ROTC program. They became roommates their Junior year which is when their friendship really started to blossom. Haley was always there for Shelley through their move from Garden Apartments to Art Street to the Great Flood Of 2015. I knew that I had to have the “Little Horse” to the Barnyard Crew standing by me on my wedding day just like you were by my side our whole time at UD! -Shelley
Groomsman
Frank and Ricky have known each other for well you know, forever. Frank has always been the brother that was the most reasonable of the three of them. Frank and Ricky have always talked tech whenever given the opportunity and have very similar tastes in hobbies. Frank, I am glad that all three of us will be up there when I marry Shelley. We both love you guys and could not imagine our big day without you. - Ricky
Bridesmaid
Katie and Shelley met while at the University of Dayton in the Army ROTC program. They were roommates for 3.5 of the 4.5 years that they were at UD. Without Katie, Shelley’s UD experience wouldn’t have been as great so it’s no doubt that without Katie by Shelley’s side on her wedding day it wouldn’t be the same. Of course I had to have all of the Core Four by my side on my wedding day! I am so honored to have you standing next to me on this day and every day. -Shelley
Groomsman
Kyle and Ricky met in middle school when they both had some mutual interests. This is when Ricky realized that there was more than video games in his parent's basement, there were also video games in Kyle’s basement. Kyle has been a huge part of Ricky's life. He's been there through the good and the bad and is always around when you need him. Kyle even though we do not talk as much as we use too, I am still happy to call you one of my best friends. Even though life does not always bring us in the same direction I am glad you will be up there when I get to marry Shelley. - Ricky
Bridesmaid
Katie and Shelley met in elementary school and have been best friends ever since. Katie helped Shelley write and perform The Op Family in 3rd Grade, record rap videos in Katie’s basement in Middle School, and drink a 6 pack of Monster Energy Drinks on New Years 2013. While they didn’t all ways go to school together (they attended different middle schools and different colleges) they have always remained close and there for each other. You have always been there for me throughout our whole friendship and I am so excited to have you buy my side on my wedding day. I hope Ricky knows that he is getting both of us for the price of one! - Shelley
Groomsman
Matt and Ricky met in eighth grade when they were both in track at Ford Middle School. Matt and Ricky got to know each other fairly well and then but became better friends as time went on. Matt and Ricky have done everything from being in a band together to trying to relearn to skateboard at 25 years old. Matt also gets some bonus points for introducing Shelley and Ricky. There have been many adventures and there are sure to be many more. Matt could not imagine doing this without you. You have always been someone I could talk to about anything. Glad to have you there on the big day. -Ricky
Bridesmaid
Kelsey and Shelley met when they were 4 years old when they started taking dance classes together. Throughout their 21 years of friendship Kelsey and Shelley have stuck together through it all. They attended different schools until they both attended Logos Lab School for middle school and then parted ways again once they went to college. Now they live 1,300 miles apart but they still remain best friends. It was a no brainer that you would be by my side on my wedding day. We have talked about our wedding days and how we would be each other’s bridesmaids since we were 4 years old! I am honored to have you stand next to me not only on my wedding day but every day even when we are 1,300 miles apart. - Shelley
Groomsman
For Max and Ricky, it all started in eighth grade when Ricky met a much longer haired Max at track practice one day. Then later in high school they golfed together and became better friends. Max and Ricky have done a little bit of everything together from golf, to driving around the country, to going to driving school together. Max, I’m glad you could be a part of our big day. We have been through a little bit of everything together. Plus no one else at the wedding knows every word to every rap song made in the early 2000s so I'm gonna need some help out there. -Ricky
Bridesmaid
Megan and Shelley met while attending the University of Dayton. They met their Freshman year but didn’t become close friends until Junior year and then roommates Senior year. Now it feels weird when they go more than a week without seeing each other. Megan and Shelley stuck by each other through The Great Flood Of 2015, living by the baseball house, and Megan (almost) falling off their roof, so it was only fitting that Megan and Shelley would stick together on Shelley’s wedding day. MEGAMOO! I am so excited to have you standing by me on my wedding day. We wouldn’t be the Barnyard Crew without you and I couldn’t imagine my wedding day without the Crew/Core Four. - Shelley
Groomsman
Sam and Ricky are the actual twins of the brothers. Don't let the age difference fool you Sam and Ricky have always been very similar. Sam and Ricky have tried to take up hiking and camping as a hobby then realized that they should have tried that in April instead of November. That being said they still had a good time. Sam, I’m glad to have you up there with me. I am not sure who else I can make fun of Frank with if you're not there. Shelley and I are both excited to have you there for the big day. -Ricky
