Matron of Honor
If I get to pick teams, I choose Leah every time. She is smart, driven, and competitive. She makes me laugh more than anyone else, she never backs down, and even though we are so different, there is no one who understands me quite like her. She is my younger sister, but she is always one step ahead of me, leading the way. I am so grateful I got to grow up with her; so much of who I am was shaped by having Leah as a sister and her challenging me to be better in every way.
Best Man
Forrest is my older brother and the person who is most like me than anyone else. Our love of soccer, music, movies/tv shows, and Fifa have brought us together and bonded us forever. Some of my best memories are just hanging out with him and discussing some of our favorites things. Although he's been out in Vermont for awhile now I always know he's rooting me on. He's been one of the biggest inspirations to me my whole life and I am super excited to have him by my side on the biggest day of my life so far!
Maid of Honor
Paige and I met in 6th grade, when our moms signed us up for a babysitting class at Mission Viejo Lake, but we have been best friends since Freshman English Honors. Since then, Paige has become Leah and my third sister, and Blaine and Lisa's favorite child. We've made it through high school (she was Reece's prom date!), college, starting our careers, and just finished our 20's together :-')! She is the person I know I can depend on. She will show up for me, even if she has to drive 8 hours with just my parents, and she will make whatever we are doing more fun. Her loyalty, humor, thoughtfulness, and ability to keep me together when I fall apart are make her friendship irreplaceable.
Best Man
Trajan is objectively just the best guy ever. I'm so lucky that he is my brother and one of my best friends. He's funny, smart, and talented and I brag about him with just about everyone I spend time with. His free spirited nature makes him down for anything and his energy is so infectious. You just can't help but enjoy yourself when you're around him. Thanks for being in my life, brother!
Bridesmaid
Audrey is the sunshine of my life. We met in high school, were Junior High camp leaders together, and had an unwavering connection ever since. She is so full of joy and love, it spills out onto everyone around her. When I am feeling sad or overwhelmed, Reece asks me how long it has been since I've talked to Audrey because she makes me feel better about everything. I am so lucky to have her as beautiful and wise example of a wife, mama, friend, sister, and woman.
Groomsman
I've always considered Easton to be my third brother. We met when we were 5 and i've loved him like a brother ever since. His loyalty, hard work, and resilience make him a great person to spend time with. He always has made me want to grow and be a better and stronger person every day. Growing up he missed one of our playoff soccer games to go to a hockey scrimmage and i'll never forgive him for that, however, i'll let it slide for one day so he can stand up at the altar with me as I marry one of his best friends!
Bridesmaid
Miranda and I grew up two streets away from each other but didn't really meet until after high school. Now I cannot imagine my life without her. She is my go to for all things taste related: clothing, home decor, nail/hair color. Her decisiveness, openness, playfulness, and warmth are such gifts to me in our friendship. Her eye for beauty is so special and inspiring to be around. We got engaged a month apart and going through this stage of life together and having someone to talk endlessly about all the things have been the absolute best.
Groomsman
I met Eddie on the baseball field when we were 10 years old but we became best friends in Mr. Stichter's 8th grade English class at La Paz Middle School. Eddie is one of my favorite people to be around. He and I always manage to have a good time whether it's hanging out at the beach, playing music, or just sitting around talking about life. One of my favorite memories with him is when we sang karaoke dressed as Shrek and Donkey at Hannah's and my Halloween party last year. I know Eddie always has my back (except for like 2 months Sophomore year of highschool) and i'm honored to have him standing up there with me as I marry his 2013 prom date.
Bridesmaid
Shannen started out as Jake's Colorado girlfriend, and is now one of my best friends. She is our sweetie, calm, gentle, intuitive, easy going lady who handles the chaos of people and animals like the expert that she is. Her and Jake frequently spend the weekend with us, and our Saturday night dinners, and football Sundays have become our favorite weekends. She is someone who I can really relax around, probably because she only has genuinely kind words and is always ready to offer support.
Groomsman
Jake has become one of my best friends over the last 10 years. We've gone on a bunch of vacations together in that time and they're all way more fun because of him. His bachelor party in Mexico stands out as one of the most memorable times of my life. His contagious laughter and vibrant demeanor make him a ton of fun to be around and i'm very excited to have him there making my wedding day that much better. The more time I spend with him the more I know we’ll be friends 4ever
Bridesmaid
My oldest friend! This girl has been in my life through it all: from the first day of preschool until now as I write this. We have endless memories: sleepovers, school musicals, school years, soccer tournaments, Bible studies, beach days, church camps, birthdays, neighborhood capture the flag, graduations, Nana's jacuzzi, her wedding, and now mine! Megan is my opposite in so many ways, and I think that is why I love her so much; together we cover a lot of ground and are a fierce team. Her mom Lisa has always called us "heaven friends." Also she is one of the funniest people I know. Love you forever Meg!
