Great hiking/nature area in Culver City if you want to get your sweat on or just some great wraparound views of the city.
One of our FAVORITE coffee and breakfast spots! Check out the Joe's Nutty Bowl, Burrito Verde and the "Nectar of the Gods" coffee.
Epic farmers market that runs on Sundays 9am-2pm
If you want some of the best (sushi) hand rolls in LA, come here! It's bar-style seating, casual but incredible food. You get to watch the chefs make the hand rolls for you 1-by-1. This location is right near 3rd Street Promenade and the Santa Monica Pier!
A fun street to people watch, shop around, and maybe grab some Salt N Straw ice cream if you're smart! Possibility of catching some celebs on this walk as well! Check out Goodies for affordable/trendy home goods or Erewhon grocery store (for the experience...).
Fresh made, delicious pasta! Casual vibe
The closest beach to us! We come here a lot to walk the paved path and catch some sunsets. Stop at Playa Provisions for a bite or Tanners Coffee. The whole strip down the coast has a paved bike/walking path on the beach though so be careful how far you walk!
If you're looking to really hike in the Malibu/SoCal area - Topanga has some incredible trails. Check out AllTrails for the distance/intensity level you're going for.
We are OBSESSED with this restaurant! Our go-tos are the Yak Chili (Alex's fave) and the Veggie Korma (Kat's fave). Make sure to get your favorite naan and rice to soak up all the flavors.
