Where are the events?

Answer

The addresses to the events are on the schedule page of this website. See more details below about shuttle buses and parking for the ceremony reception. The Welcome Event and Sunday Brunch are within walking distance or a short drive/Uber from Downtown Culver City. If you anticipate having trouble getting to the venues, let us know and we'll help you figure something out!

Shuttles

Answer

We will provide four shuttles to the ceremony and reception on Saturday evening. Shuttles will leave from The Culver Hotel in two rounds, at 4pm and 5pm. It takes 20-30 minutes to get to the Skirball Center. If you take the 4pm shuttles, you'll have lots of time to relax and explore the Skirball grounds. If you take the 5pm shuttles, you'll arrive just in time for the ceremony to begin, so please enter promptly. If you miss the shuttle for whatever reason, getting an Uber/Lyft will be super easy.

Friday Welcome Event: There's a garage right next to The Platform. The address for the garage is 3911 Landmark St, Culver City, CA 90232. Street parking is available but harder to find. Saturday Ceremony and Reception: The Skirball Cultural Center has literally hundreds of free parking spaces! Sunday Brunch: TBD.

Can I bring my kids?

Our wedding on Saturday night is 21+. However, children are welcome at the Welcome Event on Friday evening and for Sunday's Brunch. We'd love to see the kiddos at Friday night and/or Sunday morning!

What should I wear?

Answer

Friday Welcome Event: Casual Attire. Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees. Saturday Wedding: Cocktail Attire. Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks. Sunday Brunch: Casual Attire. Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All events will be outdoors. The weather should be very temperate, but we recommend bringing an additional layer just in case. In the event of rain on Saturday evening, the venue will provide a backup indoor space. On May 25, Los Angeles typically experiences warm temperatures with comfortable humidity levels. Here’s a summary of the weather conditions you can expect: Average high temperature: 75°F (24°C) // Average low temperature: 56°F (13°C)

Yes! The wedding will have a full open bar. The Welcome Event will have beer only. On Sunday, alcohol will be available for purchase.
