Guest seating begins at 3:00 pm, and the ceremony will start promptly at 3:30 pm. This will give you ample time to find your seat and get comfortably settled before the celebration begins.
If your invitation says "and Guest," you can bring a date. Otherwise, please attend solo. We're keeping our wedding intimate and appreciate your understanding. Any Questions please text me at (815) 839-6113
Yes, you may take photos and videos from your seat. You must remain seated at all times. Do not step into the aisles, stand, lean out, or move around to get a shot. Do not block or interfere with the photographer or videographer in any way. We are investing a significant amount to have our ceremony professionally photographed and recorded, and we do not want a single moment missed. We want you to have your memories too — just not at the expense of ours. This will be announced before the ceremony begins, and we expect all guests to follow these instructions.
While we adore children and are thrilled to have them present for our ceremony and dinner, we kindly request that young guests depart after the meal. The evening reception will feature entertainment and festivities designed specifically for adults, creating an elegant and sophisticated celebration. We appreciate your understanding as we craft a memorable evening tailored to our adult friends and family.
Both will be held at the Kankakee Fairgrounds Expo Building — no need to travel between locations!
Yes, plenty of free parking is available right on-site.
For our wedding ceremony, we invite you to dress in semi-formal attire that reflects elegance and sophistication. Guests are welcome to wear chic dresses, stylish jumpsuits, or tailored slacks with crisp button-down shirts. To maintain the refined atmosphere of our celebration, we kindly request that you avoid jeans, sneakers, and casual streetwear. Feel free to bring a change of clothes if you'd like to be more comfortable for dancing later in the evening!
Absolutely! We welcome guests to incorporate our wedding colors—navy blue, purple, silver, and white—into their attire. Feel free to coordinate, but remember to let the bride be the star of the day. 💕
Deliciousness!

We're embarking on our new life together, and your support means the world to us. We've opted for a streamlined registry approach and would gratefully appreciate Visa gift cards or cash contributions that will help us establish our home and future as newlyweds. For your convenience, a dedicated gift box will be available at our wedding reception to collect cards and gifts, allowing you to easily celebrate our special day with us.
Smoking is permitted exclusively in designated outdoor areas of the venue. For the comfort and safety of all guests, marijuana and other substances are strictly prohibited on the premises. Our event staff will enforce these guidelines, and any violations may result in immediate removal and forfeiture of the event deposit. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a respectful and enjoyable environment for everyone.
We have curated a selection of recommended hotels on our travel page to help make your accommodations convenient and comfortable. While we haven't reserved a specific room block, guests can explore these options and choose the lodging that best suits their preferences and budget.
If you're married and accidentally RSVP'd only for yourself, please reach out to us directly. We want to make sure your spouse is included in our seating arrangements and meal planning, so we can ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for both of you.
The RSVP deadline is May 31st, 2026, so we can finalize our guest count and wedding details.
If your plus one plans change, we're happy to help you update your RSVP. If you initially RSVP'd with a guest but are now attending solo, simply modify your response to reflect that. For those in a marriage or committed long-term relationship who didn't originally include their partner, please contact us directly so we can review and potentially update the guest list. Please note that bringing additional guests requires prior confirmation. We cannot accommodate last-minute additions. If you're traveling from out of town and would like to bring a plus one, reach out to us in advance so we can properly review and potentially include them on the guest list.
