FAQs

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are limited in the amount of space we have. We had to limit additional guests to longterm partners. Their invitation is noted on your RSVP.

Question

Are our kids invited?

Answer

We love all the children in our lives, truly! Yet our first cousins are many and their children took priority in the guest list. Our venue reached its max occupancy quick and, sadly, we ask that only those listed on your RSVP attend the reception.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is AMPLE parking at the church for our ceremony. Do not worry one bit! The reception can get confusing on where to go, but we guarantee there is even more free parking than you'd expect! Follow the signs in Golden for the public parking garage. Free parking starts at 5 PM, though if you get there early we recommend you scan the QR code in the parking garage to ensure your car is registered for 2 hours of free parking before 5 PM. We will also have space right in front of the venue for those who might need a closer space or for Uber/Lyft drop offs.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be a full Catholic mass which will start at 1 PM and likely go for an hour, ending around 2 PM. We ask that you be there around 10-15 minutes before mass starts and stay the whole time.

Question

I am not Catholic, what do I do during the ceremony?

Answer

We want everyone to feel welcome to celebrate our marriage ceremony with us, Catholic or not. We will have a program which will help guide you through the traditions and rituals of the mass. Our priest will also guide everyone through each step, including the different options available during communion. There will be a lot of standing, kneeling, sitting, and handshaking-- so be prepared!

Question

What do we do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be about 3 hours between the ceremony ending and the reception beginning. That's where our intentionally crafted "Things To Do" list comes into play. We tried to pick things that are around the ceremony, the reception, or off-the-path entirely but important to our relationship. Go explore! The adventure is just beginning!
