Celicia met Bianca in the Spring of 2021 at a Catholic retreat called SEEK right before her pivotal transfer to CSULB where she would truly get to know Jack. Over the summer they met up once or twice to have a fun meal or stand outside of a bar to listen to the live music because Celicia was not yet 21. They quickly became close not only in spirit but in proximity as providence led them into becoming bunkmates that fall. Bianca entered Celicia's life just in time to chauffeur her to late-night Chick-fil-A runs and lend a patient ear during her first heartbreak. Through the whirlwind of days and the quiet of evenings, Bianca's heart remained steadfast, loving Celicia with unwavering tenderness. To this day they share a bunkbed, spirited evening conversations about life, and accidentally...a toothbrush (both were unaware of this while it was happening). Bianca is on course to graduate with a degree in Electrical engineering this year which continues to inspire Celicia to work hard right beside her.

Meet Tyler, the epitome of a best man who shares a unique bond with me as a former college roommate. From the moment we first crossed paths in the cramped dormitory of our freshman year, Tyler and I formed an unbreakable camaraderie that transcends time and distance. Through late night runs for chicken tenders at the gastronome, early morning surf sessions for credit, gaming with our flat-mates, and eventually being the best doormen to our Fraternity’s house parties, we forged a friendship in the crucible of college. Tyler's role as the best man isn't just a title; it's a testament to the countless memories we have woven together, the highs and lows that have solidified our bond into something akin to family.

Since the tender age of three, Celicia and Kateri have been partners in crime, navigating the wild ride of childhood, teenage drama (spoiler alert: Kateri knows all the embarrassing tales), and the confusing maze of adulthood. With their eyes set on world domination through knowledge and success, these two were practically joined at the hip. Their love for art was a pivotal reason as to why Celicia is pursuing design. Kateri holds a special place in Celicia's heart, having witnessed her journey from diapers to diplomas. Despite living on opposite coasts – Celicia soaks up the sun in Long Beach while Kateri braves the concrete jungle of New York – their friendship remains unshakable. They chat up a storm, swapping stories and sharing laughs, proving that distance is no match for true camaraderie.

Meet Franco, the man on a mission. Franco and I first grew close as pledge brothers in our Fraternity, PIKE. We grew even closer when we tried to start a fraternity within the fraternity that centered on evengelizing our wild brothers. I followed in Franco’s footsteps from day one leading us both to conducting a Christian fellowship for Greek students, travel internationally to serve the poor, and to give our lives in service to college students as missionaries after college. He was the first one I sought counsel from when I wanted to start my relationship with Celicia and he was the one who opened the door when I picked her up for our first date, and second...

Celicia's older sister Katia has always held her hand as she led the way before her. Not only has she been her confidant, mischief buddy, and protector, but Celicia would consider her the first ever to truly hold her heart. She has loved and cared for her like no other. She tells Celicia exactly what she has done wrong to the point of tears but then wipes her eyes tenderly. Katia is in Pittsburgh working as a nurse and continues to make Celicia's chest swell with pride! She is also getting married this upcoming May and will be a newlywed at the Skvarna wedding! She will be moving with the love of her life to Illinois where they will both be so happy! Celicia feels it is such an honor to have been chosen to be Katia's younger sister as she consider this one of life's greatest blessings!

Meet Kristof, the eldest brother of the Gyetvai clan. He is next in line to Celicia, and their bond as siblings is gentle, spunky, and full of life and humor. As I have watched Kristof and Celicia, I have gotten to see his faith, wit, and humor, how he loves and treats his family well, and his adventurous, fun-loving soul. You can find him playing the most gut-wrenching, horrifying games (when visiting, you can hear his screams of terror echo the halls of the house) or entertaining his sister with a cozy indie game just because he knows she likes it. He also enjoys a drink and deep conversation on his new favorite film on his nights in. There's something special about someone who knows how to balance a good drink, a game, and quality time with family.

Celicia's sweet younger sister Francesca is a constant inspiration, brimming with love and generosity. From her earliest days, she's embodied selflessness and kindness, always prioritizing others. Her beauty, humility and service-driven nature have left a lasting impact on everyone she meets. While she is the essence of a feminine young lady, Francesca was raised with boys all around her. She can go from dressing up and putting on makeup to reminding her younger brothers who have walked the earth longer, whether it's a BB gun fight, a foot race, or a karate throw-down. Francesca's empathy and ambition led her to pursue psychology in college, a journey we eagerly anticipate. Celicia adores her deeply, and having Francesca by her side on this important day was inevitable!

Isidore is often first seen as the meekest of the clan, but I am inspired by how he balances his seemingly hidden warrior spirit with a gentle demeanor, embodying both strength and compassion. His dedication to protecting and defending his loved ones (and his gear) showcases his loyalty and bravery.

With a twinkle in her eye, she effortlessly combines humor with affection as she lovingly cares for Jack, gently guiding him along all while also keeping him in line with a playful (and sometimes stern) banter that never fails to make Celicia laugh. The sibling love between the two is something so unique and touching! Meet Zach, the brother from another mother. Zach and I share our deep friendship through our fraternity and being college roommates. From our days of wild fraternity parties to navigating the challenges of women in general, Zach and I have been through it all together. Zach is like a rock, He always grounded me through the highest of highs and the lowest of lows during my college years. He is also the most responsible party animal I have met. Our brotherhood extends beyond the anything I could write here and I am so stoked to have him at my side on my special day.

Meet Chris, the man by my side from the beginning, literally. Our friendship started the moment I took my first breath and would only deepen until today. Chris and I loved creating knew ways to play soccer (our favorite being knee and elbow soccer), lining up our hotwheel cars for hours, playing in the backyard or hanging out with our many schools friends. Chris is always the life of any party, whether its an impromptu road trip for Arizona’s parents weekend or partying with my cousins (which have become his cousins) at their bachelor party, Chris’s charisma makes even the greatest of strangers feel like a close friend and you can bet he’ll pour them a cold one from his house bar.

There are moments when a friend steps into your world at precisely the right time, and for me, that friend is Myla. When Celicia had just relocated to Long Beach and settled into a new home, Myla emerged as a beacon of light and warmth (and from the room across from her because they were apartment-mates.) Myla, then a FOCUS missionary on campus, not only extended the heart of Jesus to Celicia, but she also introduced her to the vibrant community of Long Beach. She wove her right into a group of friends that became a lifeline during a time of need; from this group of friends came Jack. Celicia + the FOCUS team (Myla, Luisa Paulina, Jack and Shane) spent many outings with each other, unknowingly nurturing a friendship and future relationship between Jack and Celicia. (Thank you, Myla + friends!) From times of tragedy to moments of joy, Myla has been a constant source of support and friendship. In Myla, Celicia discovered not just a friend but a guardian angel, guiding her through life's ups and downs with love and compassion.

Meet Agustin, whose giggles and jokes could invite anyone into conversation with him. His avid intelligence leads him to desire games full of electronics or building things. He thrives on quality time and always wants to be around his siblings and friends like his sister Celicia. Agustin's love for his faith and family can be seen clearly in his pursuit of wanting to be a priest one day and serve the church! The combination of his warm personality, intellectual pursuits, and devotion to the faith speaks for someone who has a deep sense of purpose and compassion. Agustin's presence enriches the lives of those around him, both through his joyful spirit and his genuine desire to make a positive impact in the world.

This friendship is one whose beginnings have always made the both of them laugh. When Amanda and Celicia met they were both interested in two brothers; twins in fact. While that endeavor died quickly, it became apparent as to why they were meant to meet those boys in the first place, to find their friendship in each other. From the pangs of heartache to countless ramen outings, Amanda and Celicia have forged a bond akin to kindred spirits. Their similar desire for genuine femininity, good food, and Jesus has always spurred their meetings. Celicia holds Amanda in the highest regard, her heart brimming with affection for her dear friend and is so excited to look next to her and see her sweet face when at the altar.

Meet Ambrose, the youngest of the Gyetvai family. His vigor for life and fun is an inspiration to my youthful heart. He enjoys a good throw-down with anyone that will humor him. Even though our styles of playing with legos are very different, we try playing every time, which ends in telling on me to Mrs. Gyetvai. You can find him showing back flips on the trampoline, riding on his skateboard, and playing a game on the Apple TV. His tenacity, passion, and ferocity are traits I am inspired not only in him but also in my future bride, Celicia.
