FAQs

Question

How should I behave during the Catholic ceremony?

Answer

We’re so happy to have guests from all walks of life join us! Our ceremony will be a traditional Catholic Mass. If you’re not Catholic, you’re still very welcome to attend and observe. You don’t need to participate in the kneeling, responses, or Communion; just follow along quietly and respectfully. Phones should be silenced, and photos or videos during the Mass are not permitted. Thank you for honoring the sacredness of this moment with us.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes early. The ceremony will begin promptly at the time listed on your invitation. This will give you time to find your seat and settle in.

Question

Can I bring a guest or kids?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation. If your envelope says “and Guest,” you’re welcome to bring one. Otherwise, we hope you’ll come solo to celebrate with us. Regarding children, while we love your little ones, our reception will be an adults-only affair unless otherwise specified.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding is formal. Ladies, an evening dress or nice jumpsuit is perfect. Gentlemen, a suit or dress shirt and slacks is great. Ladies, please keep in mind that the ceremony is being held in a Catholic church. Women are kindly asked to have their shoulders covered and avoid any low-cut or revealing tops—no chest or cleavage should be visible. Revealing attire is permitted to dismissal from the Mass. A shawl, jacket, or wrap is a great option if your dress is sleeveless. We ask everyone to dress modestly out of respect for the Sacred Sacrament of Holy Matrimony.
