Maid of Honor
Miranda and Celeste met over shared angst in middle school, and after going to different high schools for a while, rekindled their friendship via orchestra in their senior year. They then cemented their sisterhood with matching tattoos in their early twenties. Miranda has always had Celeste's back and they try to see each other at least once a week to recharge, decompress, bounce things off each other, get perspective, and just have fun. One would say they are two peas in a pod!
Maid of Honor
Adelaide and Celeste met in the fifth grade and initially bonded over similar family structures, being older siblings and commiserating over their strict teacher (who turned out to be a saint). Eventually they realized they lived in the same neighborhood and would ride the bus together, wrote a screenplay together, and created dance routines at the bus stop together. Adelaide moved away after only two years, but she and Celeste remained friends, pen pals, and eventually became closer than ever though they never again lived in the same state.
Groomsman
Caleb and Neal met at Murphy High School shortly after Neal moved to Mobile, AL for his Senior year and Caleb's Junior year. They quickly bonded over video games, sports, music, girls (and boys 😉). While Neal's parents were gone for much of the summer prior to attending Auburn University, Neal practically lived at Caleb's house allowing them ample time to solidify their bromance. Once Caleb followed Neal to Auburn they were roommates for 4 years, then life sent them to different areas of the country. Despite the separation they have remained close and will remain so... UNTIL THE END OF TIME!
Bridesmaid
Erin is Celeste's oldest friend. They have known each other since the first grade and became close in the fourth grade when Celeste joined Erin's girl scout troop. Over many months of dinners before scouts, sleepovers, adventures, proms, and eventually being a part of Erin's wedding in 2019, Erin and Celeste have become intrinsic parts of each other's lives.
Groomsman
Many moons ago, on a dark night with howling winds, a wolf was born. As the lightning crackled, and the thunder roared, that wolf awoke. And that wolf's name was "Neal and Thomas's friendship." From the first time they met at Murphy, standing by the fountain and apprehensively looking at each other, to the years later friendship that they actually developed, Neal and Thomas have and will always be the best of friends. Years spent together cooking bacon without shirts on, drinking increasingly higher quality beers, and taking care of each other's animals has forged a bond that has yet to be broken by an argument over whose dishes are filling up the sink.
Bridesmaid
Regan and Celeste met through their sorority at Auburn University, of which they are both founding members along with another bridesmaid Sara Grace. Regan was one of Celeste's first friends at Auburn and their friendship continues to thrive with Regan’s recent move to Atlanta. They share a love for their dogs, impulse sushi, and their professional drive.
Groomsman
The story of Neal and Andrew's friendship is much like Neal's beard: long, tangled and full of delicious food. Their bond was formed during football Saturdays and Pannie George Sundays, their weekends flavored by spicy bloody marys and Streetlight Manifesto. Together they became uncles to each other's cats and witnessed the world's worst tattoo. They christened Auburn's new racquetball court in a game that still hasn't been decided. Twice, they drove across the country in search of adventure and places that weren't Kansas. Narrator voice: They still found Kansas. But more importantly, this pair of brown-haired adonises found friendship, a friendship that, unlike Will's car, has shown it can survive anything.
Bridesmaid
Sara Grace and Celeste met one night at a sorority bonding event. After which, they ended up going out dancing, staying up too late, talking, and getting to know each other. Ever since learning that they both have a passion for getting down, a fierce protectiveness and support for their loved ones (including their puppy dogs), Sara Grace and Celeste became besties. They would spend the night at each other's houses and cook dinner for one another, even if it was just french toast or zoodles. Sara Grace has been there for the bride even when she didn't realize she needed someone.
Bridesman
Ted is the oldest younger brother of Celeste and has been the most caring and funny person in her life, until she met Neal of course. He, along with their other brother John, will be walking the bride down the aisle. When asked if he would walk her down the aisle, he responded with, "she didn't even need to ask", thus making her cry. Ted is a tough, tall, talented marine and husband. He often creates recipes out of thin air and his puns have started lengthy pun battles between the siblings. Celeste couldn't imagine her day without him.
Bridesman
John is the youngest brother of Celeste and has been the person she confides in most, until she met Neal of course. Celeste loves making John laugh until he cries, and they have made many memories doing so. He, along with their other brother Ted, will be walking the bride down the aisle. When asked if he would escort her, he said that he would be honored. This was John’s chance to make his sister so happy she cried, and he succeeded.
Officiant
One fateful gameday, Neal and Celeste went to brunch and afterwards they wandered around and heard shouts of "War Eagle" being broadcasted over the streets.... Following the sounds of the Auburn family, they found a man with THE perfect announcer's timbre, who was hosting a podcast live in a taproom, because he could. That man's name was Matt and he quickly drew them in. While watching the game and listening to Matt's podcast, Celeste and Neal met his wife Jennifer, who quickly hugged them and shouted WDE! Eventually they Matt off-air and quickly became friends. Since then, Celeste and Neal were invited over for Iron Bowls and Superbowls. Their friendship evolved to family, and the soon-to-be-Smith's couldn't picture their special day without Matt officiating and Jen cheering.
