What is the elevation?

Answer

8,389 ft high and due to this, please allot time to spend the night at least once in Colorado to give your body time to adjust to the elevation. Please look up elevation sickness for more information!

Can I smoke weed on property?

Answer

No. Even though weed is legal in the state of Colorado, Deer Valley Ranch prohibits any form of weed on property. If event staff sees anyone ingesting or appears to be under the influence of weed, that person can be removed and staff has the right to stop the event.

Can I stay on property?

Answer

Guests will be notified if accommodations are available and will be assigned a room/cabin. Not all guests are guaranteed a room/cabin. Ranch staff asks for guests to be respectful of the decorations as a lot are antique. Leave no trace outside and leave it as you found it inside.

Will there be Wi-Fi?

Answer

Yes, only in the Lodge. There is limited wi-fi in the cabins.

Will there be alcohol and/or a bar?

Answer

Yes! We have hand-selected a variety of wine and beer from our travels to share with you. Please keep in mind being in high elevation affects your alcohol tolerance. Your bartender is trained to understand these effects and will stop serving if they feel it is best.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi/formal. Temperatures range from 40s-high 60s. Please be aware, Deer Valley Ranch is gravel rock! Plan your shoes accordingly.

I don't see much on the registry. What else can I do?

Answer

We have lived together for awhile so we don't need the traditional dishes or towels but that doesn't mean we have everything. We love experiences, spoiling our 3 kitties, eating out, and we would love to pay off our debt as soon as possible. We would love gift cards, certificates, checks, cash, personalized gifts of any kind, or any of the items listed on the registry. We appreciate you and anything you gift us.
