Our love of bicycle riding brought us together at Linda's, a bar in Seattle, after a critical mass bike ride in 2018.

We took a bicycle trip to Port Townsend in the spring of 2019. While we were there, we visited Whidbey Island and went for a beautiful hike by the beach. Three years later, we went walking with Celeste's aunt Adele and uncle Ken on Whidbey Island on the same beach. While Celeste had "informally" proposed a few times, Jesse proposed with a ring on this beautiful beach near Ebey's Landing on July 4, 2022.
