What's the weather like in June?

Answer

Beautiful! While the nights dip into the 50s, we anticipate days to be in the mid 70s. Our venue has both sheltered outdoor spaces and lovely indoor spaces, so weather shouldn't be an issue.

What is "dressy garden party"? What about the rest of the weekend?

Answer

We think all of the following work. Summery dresses and separates; lightweight blazers, tailored shirts, chinos. Dress to feel good and look good! As to the rest of the weekend, comfortable and casual. Layers make a lot of sense, and great walking shoes are a must - especially if you plan to hit the trail.

Is it safe downtown?

Answer

For the most part, yes. We have never had a problem walking downtown, or leaving our car on the street at night. Having said that, there will be a number of protests the weekend of our wedding, in the downtown area. Out of an abundance of caution, if you are renting a car, you may want to park across the street at Union Bank overnight. Otherwise, use your usual street smarts and you will be fine.

We are not registered anywhere because we really don't need a thing. We also appreciate how far many of you have come to share our day with us. Nevertheless, if you feel obliged to do something, we have listed a number of non-profits we love in the registry section of this website.
