International Rose Test Garden
Located in beautiful Washington Park, the International Rose Test Garden boasts more than 10,000 individual rose bushes, in bloom from late May through October and representing over 610 different rose varieties. It is within walking distance of both hotels!
Pittock Mansion
One of the best views of the city! This is found at one of the highest points of Forest Park and gives a breathtaking view of Portland. You can visit the actual mansion or just stare out from the viewpoint. Fun fact: We can see Pittock Mansion from our living room!

Powell's Books is the world's largest independent bookstore. Family owned since 1971, our mission is to inspire people to read more books and incite a free-thinking independent culture. Powell’s is a place that fosters a culture of reading and connects people with the books they'll love. And of course, it's walkable from both hotels!

Portland Farmers Market at PSU
Our year-round flagship farmers market, under the canopy of giant elm trees on the campus of Portland State University (PSU), welcomes up to 9,000 shoppers on a summer Saturday. Portland-area residents and chefs, along with visitors from around the world, flock to the market to browse as many as 100 vendor stalls featuring local farmers and food producers.

Our favorite bakery is just down the street from the Inn at Northrup Station. Highly recommend a baguette or any of their hand-crafted sandwiches!

Tim's favorite sports bar and the best one in the city! Tim's longest relationship in Portland is actually with one of the bartenders. Shout out Brian for hooking Tim up with an absurd amount of free drinks!
