What exactly are we celebrating?

While we were legally married during COVID, this gathering is our vow renewal and wedding celebration — a chance to celebrate properly with our family and friends in one place.

Is this event adults-only?

Answer

Yes — while we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration. Thank you so much for understanding.

Any attire tips we should know beyond “cocktail”?

Answer

Our celebration will be outdoors partially on grass, so we recommend block heels, wedges, or flats. Think polished, comfortable, and ready to celebrate.

Do I really need to rent a car?

Answer

We highly recommend it. Southern California is very car-dependent. If you’re traveling with friends or family also attending the wedding, sharing a rental car can be a convenient and cost-effective option.

Will any part of the celebration be indoors?

Answer

Yes. The vow renewal will be held indoors, and the reception will take place at the Hughes Residence, with both indoor and outdoor spaces.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to be fully present during the ceremony and save photos for afterward. We can’t wait to see everyone’s pictures from the celebration!

Are there options to help keep hotel costs down?

If you’re open to sharing accommodations, feel free to reach out to us! We’re happy to help connect friends who may also be interested in splitting a room.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes, transportation will be provided from Homewood Suites to the ceremony, then to the reception, and returning guests to the hotel at the end of the evening.

Will a full dinner be provided at the reception?

Answer

Yes! As well as an open bar.
